Family potted avocado can not only play a role in greening the home environment and decorating the space, but also hope to blossom and bear fruit and harvest delicious fruit if the maintenance and management work is done well. On the other hand, the small seedlings of avocado potted plants are generally obtained by sowing fruit kernels. In the previous article, the editor shared the method and process of avocado breeding, and the following is about the method of transplanting avocado in pot.

When the seedlings take root and sprout smoothly and grow stably, we can choose an appropriate time to transplant and plant in the pot. So, how to plant avocados after sprouting? Since the roots and buds of avocados are very young after they take root and sprout, the potting process should be very careful to avoid breaking the roots and buds, otherwise the survival will be affected.

I. preparation of basin soil

In order to transplant into the pot, we first need to prepare the flowerpot and culture soil, especially the construction of the pot environment. Put some larger rubble on the bottom of the basin as a drainage layer, and then prepare a fertile and loose soil, mix rotten leaf soil with river sand or perlite, mix well and use.

Second, the process of potting.

After setting up the soil environment in the basin, put the flowerpot in the washbasin with the right amount of water, soak the water in the basin through the outlet at the bottom of the basin to soak the soil in the basin, and then plant it in wet soil.

Bury the core of the avocado that takes root and sprout into the culture soil, pay attention to bury all the roots in the culture soil, and cover the soil until the lower part of the stone is about 1 inch 3. Special attention should be paid to avoid damaging roots and buds.

III. Maintenance and management

Maintenance and management is very important for the cultivation of avocado potted seedlings, so we usually can not be too careless, as far as possible to do a good job of management and protection.

1. After finishing the pot of the seedlings, put the potted plants in a ventilated and sunny position so that they can receive scattered light to avoid direct sunlight. After all, the buds are still relatively young. If the light is too strong or exposed to light for too long, it is easy to sunburn the buds. And the seedlings have not yet taken the pot, so you should avoid direct sunlight, and the temperature should be kept between 16 °C and 27 °C.

2. Before the seedling takes the basin completely, if the basin soil becomes dry, it should be sprayed to moisturize in time; and after the seedling takes the basin smoothly, if the basin soil dries, it can be watered. However, whether spraying or watering, can not be excessive, to avoid the basin soil is too wet, but also can not accumulate water, otherwise it will bring harm to the growth of the plant.

3. Many potted people are easy to die during the period of conservation and management of potted seedlings, especially when the seedlings grow to a height of about 15-20 centimeters, which is mainly caused by inappropriate maintenance conditions or improper use of management means. In addition to suitable light, temperature should also be protected, and water and fertilizer management should also be scientific and reasonable, otherwise the seedlings may die suddenly, resulting in unnecessary losses.
