Camellias not only have straight green leaves and rich sense of luster, but also bloom large and gorgeous, which is of high ornamental value. Therefore, as a family potted plant, it is very suitable for watching flowers, and the effect of embellishing space is also very prominent, especially at flowering stage.

However, in order to grow potted camellias, it is usually necessary to do a good job of planting and conservation management at the same time. Many people only pay attention to the former and ignore the latter, or only pay attention to the latter and ignore the former, so the plants always grow poorly. Today, the editor will share with you the potted planting method of camellias.

I. allocation of soil

In potted camellias, the allocation of soil is very important, because if the soil is well prepared, the later conservation management will get twice the result with half the effort. We can use the garden soil directly, but in order to improve the looseness, air permeability and drainage effect of the basin soil, it is recommended to mix some cinder and coconut bran or pine needles into the garden soil. Of course, we can also add a small amount of nutrient soil, and then mix these substrates well.

But it should be noted that we do not directly use pure nutritious soil to plant camellias, otherwise it is easy to have rotten roots after the camellias are potted.

Second, select the basin

Prepare a gallon basin, the one with more seepage holes at the bottom. In fact, we can also consider the pot according to our own actual situation, especially the size must be moderate, not too big or too small, and the size of the basin should be determined according to the size of the plant.

If the selection basin is too large, it is easy to cause stagnant water in the basin, and the later maintenance is very troublesome; if the selection basin is too small, there is not enough space for the root distribution of the plant, thus affecting the normal growth of the plant.

Third, put on the basin

After matching the soil and selecting the pot, we can plant the tea pot seedlings in the flowerpot. And the planting method is also relatively simple, according to the general planting method can be carried out, and there is not much need to do well. The process is as follows: build a drainage layer at the bottom of the basin-cover a layer of soil above the drainage layer-put the plant in the middle of the basin-fill the soil from around the plant-and gently compact the soil.

Fourth, watering

After finishing the pot, we also need to do a very critical work, that is to water thoroughly. After the completion of the basin, water once in time, this watering is usually called fixed root water, pay attention to must be thoroughly watered! If it is not watered thoroughly for the first time, it needs to be watered continuously until it is thoroughly watered, which is one of the guarantee conditions for the successful survival of the plant. As long as the root water is well watered, it will be easy to manage in the future.

5. Display

Next, put the potted plants in a cool and ventilated place to slow down the seedlings, and after a period of time, the plants survived smoothly in the pot, and then we managed them according to the normal maintenance process. After the placement environment requires good ventilation, adequate light, at the same time, water and fertilizer should also keep up with, so as to ensure that the plant has a good growth.
