Pots Selection and Upper Pots of Chinese Cupressus Bonsai
The ground is covered with green cypress branches and leaves, winding and creeping, and suitable for viewing in all seasons. The best viewing effect is when the new branches and leaves sprout in spring. It is not advisable to keep it indoors for a long time during the growth period. It can be made into horizontal symmetrical bonsai and placed in the courtyard or reception room for appreciation.
Pot selection:
To choose different pots according to different shapes, cliff type should use purple sand sign tube pot, and the taproot should be left longer to bear the tension of most branches and leaves hanging out of the pot; curved dry type can use oval purple sand pot or glazed pottery pot; inclined dry type, lying dry type with rectangular purple sand shallow pot is good, in order to show the elegant style of trunk.
The branches and leaves of cypress are lush, the lower hanging branches are long, the trunk is too thin, not beautiful enough, and a piece of rock with a certain height is placed behind the trunk. This rock not only makes up for the thin trunk defects, but also makes people feel that cypress seems to be born on cliffs, fearless in danger, showing the momentum of "rock waterfall".
Upper basin:
Cuttings survived seedlings in the spring of the following year in pots planted. Cultivate 3 years or so can make miniature bonsai, cultivate 5 years or so can make small bonsai. According to the shape of small trees, preliminary modeling is required during cultivation. Buy potted cypress more than 10 years old, design the composition after viewing the tree, cut off unnecessary branches for modeling, plant them into more fertile culture soil, and carry out preliminary winding modeling while cultivating. Generally cultivated for 2 to 3 years can be produced in large bonsai.
