Creative characteristics of literati tree bonsai

Some time ago, I went to Yangzhou to visit teacher Zhao Qingquan about the creation of the literati tree. In Mr. Zhao's rooftop garden, I saw the "Taoyuan Holy Land" which had been hidden by the master for many years. Teacher Zhao used the literati bonsai created by Shuanggan Zhenbai to fully demonstrate the noble, tranquil, fresh and refined solar terms and harmony in the character of the literati. A branch, a leaf, a plant and a tree all show the master's ability to control Jingshu and his rigorous creative attitude. More than a decade of deliberate pursuit has become the invisible nature of the road, fully interpreting the harmony between man and nature.

The literati tree is a special form of expression in the literati bonsai. The trunk is thin and clumsy, the branches are simple and lively, and the style praises elegance, clumsiness, style and charm, which has the symbolism of the Chinese traditional literati value standard.

Shape: shape with things, meaning with shape. It is an inadvertently accidental natural interest, an epiphany with nothing in mind, an epiphany without a trace, and a "changing hair indeterminate form" that takes off form, expresses through form and reveals the ideological realm of literati.

Elegant: elegant, unrestrained. out of the ordinary.

Thin: thin. Dry and thin, few branches, light pieces. "redundant cut to stay thin, one branch and one leaf is always related to love."

Taste: literati taste. It is the morale of the literati's character, interest and charm, and it is the spiritual connotation of being thin, detached, empty and profound.

High: towering, lofty, lonely, withered. This type of branches are generally distributed in the higher parts of the trunk.

Jane: concise, concise. A few receptacles sparse branches, sparse leaves; one more branch is more, and one less branch is less. Is a minimalist performance, nothing can be simplified, or even simplified to "zero", concise to almost abstract.

Elegant: ordinary, elegant. Simple, clean and elegant. Beautiful but not conventional, not pretentious.

Clumsy: clumsy, clumsy, wild. Do not show talent, do not make gas, the price lies in convergence. It can be an incomplete or defective form.
