Red skin disease is also called hemorrhagic corruption, red skin plague, skin scraping disease, fin decay disease.

Symptom

The scales of diseased fish fall off (the difference from skin inflammation and congestive disease), especially on both sides of the fish body and abdomen. Local or most of the skin of the diseased fish is inflamed and congested, the base of the dorsal and caudal fins is congested, and the scales fall off, especially on both sides and abdomen of the fish, the end of the fin is rotten, a section of the fin is often decayed, and some fin decay occurs; the lesions on the body surface are often secondary to water mold infection, the upper and lower jaws and operculum of the fish are congested, and massive erythema appear; some Gill covers appear "skylight", some fish intestines are also congested and inflamed, and the oral cavity and muscles are normal.

. Often associated with enteritis and Gill rot, the infection is caused by pathogenic bacteria in water, tools and bacteria-carrying fish, and parasitic damage to the body surface often leads to infection.

(red skin disease)

Etiology

Red skin disease is caused by Trichoderma fluorescens (PSEUDOMONAS FLUORESCENS), fish injury, easy to suffer from the disease. Spring and autumn are popular seasons, which can cause mass death of fish. The disease is closely related to water quality. It is easy to occur when the content of dissolved oxygen is low and the content of organic matter is high.

Prevention and cure method

Keep the dissolved oxygen in water about 5MG/L. Strengthen feeding and management to keep the water quality fresh. Sprinkle furacilin or furazolidone regularly to prevent disease.
