The whole body of Danding tricolor koi is composed of three kinds of spots. White is the background color; there are black markings on the body, and the black markings can not be overdone, the body is like white light; a little red on the top of the head is called "Danding tricolor".

If red in addition to the head also appears, then it can not be called Danding tricolor koi. In other words, in order to become the tricolor of Danding, in addition to the striped color that has been formed on the body, only a little red on the top of the head is called "Danding".

1. The first thing is to look at the distance of its eyes. Whether the distance between the two eyes is wide enough, the koi with a wide distance between them usually grow larger; the base of the pectoral fin to the end of the kiss, that is, the length of the head is long enough; and then see if the distance between the eyes and the mouth is too short.

2. The mouth should be thicker. It is very difficult for a thin-mouthed koi to grow into a large fish.

3. Whether the cheeks are equally plump or not, the top of the head must be full; the flat top of the brocade carp is not ideal.

4. The pectoral fins that are too small, too sharp or triangular are not good. The body from the pectoral fin to the caudal stalk must be smooth without sudden bulge or depression.

5. the tail stalk is stout, and we can see whether a fish is physically and well developed from the tail stalk.

6. from top to bottom, the fish must not only have an appropriate width, but also have an appropriate side height, and the highest point should be a little in front of the dorsal fin. If the highest point of the side height is in the middle of the dorsal fin, it looks like a hunchback is unqualified.
