Green flowers, how to deal with bonsai wounds
Detailed treatment of bonsai wound treatment and eucalyptus bonsai production process
1. Bonsai wound healing
Figure, text| Hongjiang bonsai
The best time to prune branches is late autumn. First cut about 1cm from the base, the tree is strong, no special treatment is needed, the rosin will naturally dry after flowing out, protect the wound, weaker trees are better to apply some healing agent to avoid excessive sap loss, affecting the tree potential (the tree is too weak to do too much pruning). (After the wound, put on the mud, check it after a few days, and wipe it clean if it loosens.) At this point, the mud and rosin mix together, the effect will be better.) After the branches dry, about 12 years), and then remove the rest from the base. At this time, it is better to use fork scissors, and the trunk will heal better.
Forked scissors have a curved design at the incision, with smaller branches that can excise slightly sunken wounds and help them heal. For larger branches, use a sharp blade (if you use a utility knife, you must wear cotton gloves on both hands, not cut too thick at the same time, lest the blade break and cut yourself) to repair dry wood and smooth the wound. Use healing agents to protect wounds (regardless of tree strength, slightly larger wounds need to be coated with healing agents to avoid excessive sap affecting trees), accelerate healing, and wounds are smooth and beautiful.
When sap flows rapidly and vigorously (four or five months), the time to heal the wound is more appropriate. At this point the physiological conditions of the plant are used to proliferate tissue as quickly as possible.
The speed at which tissue heals depends on four conditions:
1. The strength of sap flow.
2. The angle of sap transport.
3. Pros and cons of initial wound treatment.
4. The degree of protection of the wound. The most overlooked is the angle of sap transport. Experiments show that circular incisions heal most slowly at the top and bottom. The reason is that the sap is transported the shortest distance, and the two ends of the circle are only dead corners, so these two points are the slowest healing positions, so the end of the circular incision is engraved with the shape of the eye without dead corners. In this way, the principle of sap transportation can be satisfied, and barrier-free space can be formed, so that sap flow is unimpeded, healing speed is accelerated, and scars are smooth and beautiful.
Note: In the experimental phase, usually because the wound must be operated for a longer time, intuition mistakenly thinks that the wound will become larger, the healing time will be extended, and even worry about leaving a larger scar, so it is also a late start. On the contrary, the experimental results prove that the method is excellent, not only can shorten the healing time, but also can make the wound smooth and natural.
Secondly, explain the process of eucalyptus bonsai production

The production process or process of eucalyptus bonsai is as follows:
A newly collected pile of old eucalyptus trees should be planted on plain sand or planted in pots for "stack cultivation." It is usually carried out in late autumn to spring (good before germination and higher survival rate in the third month). Before planting, roots and branches should be pruned first, sap usually flows out through cuts. If too much fluid seeps out, it can seriously affect survival. It can be sealed with paint or wax at the cut. It can also be coated with erythromycin ointment or sulfa ointment and then sprinkled with fine sand. After planting, try to compact the soil. You don't need watering. Just spray water 1-2 times a day, then rehydrate every 3-4 days. Do not dry or pour water in the future, and it is forbidden to accumulate water in the soil.
Secondly, the shape of bonsai should be based on the basic shape of the old pile, through translation, pruning, etc., so that straight stem, curve dry, inclined stem, facing the water surface, cliff type, wind blowing, jungle and stone different forms of bonsai. Modelling time can be in the dormancy period after defoliation or in the growing season, but avoid the germination period.
planting the molded eucalyptus bonsai in fine pots such as purple clay pots before germination in spring. Sandy soil, loose and airy, well drained and rich in humus should be planted. It is usually placed in a well-ventilated, well-lit area to keep the soil moist rather than water. When the summer temperature is high, water can be sprayed on the ground around the plant, but it is not suitable to spray water directly on the surface of the leaves, so as not to enlarge the blade and lose the beauty. Apply decomposed thin liquid fertilizer every 20 days or so.
Eucalyptus germinates strongly and grows rapidly. It should be pruned frequently during the growing season, cutting long and tangled branches to keep the trees beautiful. The best viewing period for eucalyptus potted plants is when the new leaves come out. If the leaves are taken out in early and mid-August, water and fertilizer management will be strengthened in the later period, and new leaves will be regenerated in late September to improve the ornamental value. In winter, move to a cooler room, or you can even bury outdoor leeward in the soil to reduce watering and keep plants completely dormant. In the maintenance of potted plants every 2 - 3 years, so that potted plants grow vigorously.
