Green flowers, when should bonsai be watered
Bonsai maintenance foundation, watering skills introduction, learn to be correct!
Bonsai is becoming more and more popular, whether in the office or at home, bonsai will make the whole environment more vivid. But bonsai is different from wild plants and needs careful maintenance in order to grow healthily. The most basic thing is watering. Pouring water or watering too much may limit the growth of bonsai and even make it impossible for bonsai to survive. For beginners, they must master the necessary knowledge of bonsai watering.
1. Watering bonsai, follow the general principle, that is, according to the growth habits of plants. For example, wet plants need to be watered and watered, and for people who like dry environments, they don't need to be watered too much. Aquatic plants cannot be dehydrated. Water must always be there. Although succulent plants are basically watered once a week, most foliage plants need to keep the soil moist.
2, watering times also consider many factors, in addition to the types of plants to be considered, but also depends on the season, weather and so on. In season, water should be watered in summer, usually twice in the morning and evening. Some plants also need to sprinkle water on their leaves in the afternoon. In winter, because of a cold, generally do not need watering, watering is also once a week or half a month. When the weather is clear, pay attention to watering in continuous dry weather, but less in the rainy season.
The time for watering is also very tight. It's usually better to pour it in before 10:00 in the morning. During this period, the sun is not very strong, and plants can absorb water better after the sun comes out. You can also water it at night. But do not pour in at noon, watering at noon, may make the plant unable to adapt to the temperature difference and injury.
4. The dry humidity of the potted soil determines whether to water it or not. If the potted soil is still very wet, please do not water it again. Wait until the potted soil is slightly dry before dumping. Even wet plants should be watered after drying. Otherwise, too much watering, the soil is too wet, but will affect growth.
Don't leave water in the basin every time you water it. If there is water in the basin for a long time, whether it is a water-tolerant plant or not, rotting roots may appear, resulting in the death of the whole plant. Except for aquatic plants, of course. You need to keep aquatic plants in your hands.
6. Watering is also related to the size of the soil and basin. If it is a soil with strong water storage capacity, it can reduce the amount of watering, such as clayey soil and humus soil. If it is a soil with strong drainage, it needs to be poured, such as sandy soil. In general, the smaller the basin, the easier it is to plant soil in pots, so more watering is needed. In addition, shallow pots are easier to dry than deep pots and should be poured more.
7, when watering, generally do not take out directly from the plant body, better sprinkle into the basin along the basin.
The maintenance basis and watering skills of bonsai were summarized. These are good. Correct!
