April 22 is World Earth Day. On this day, Nanzhuang Middle School in Miaoli County held a nutritious lunch donation ceremony and a "1-day vegetable Love Earth" activity. Unexpectedly, a photo of that day's activity triggered a series of local disputes.

Kyushu Shengping Cultural Media Co., Ltd., from China, was introduced by Huang Jinyuan, chairman of Shitoushan Quanhua Hall, and donated 600000 yuan to provide a free nutritious lunch in Nanzhuang Junior High School. After the donation ceremony, people took a group photo at the school gate with red strips of wine with feelings on it.

The matter is gradually fermenting in the local area, and many residents are talking about it. Some people think that Nanzhuang Junior High School is an educational venue, and that it should not cooperate with entrepreneurs to take alcohol publicity photos, while others say for the school that if the enterprise donates money and requests for a group photo at the same time, it will be very difficult for the school to refuse. Jiang Zhenrong, the superintendent of the Miaoli County Bureau of Education in the photo, particularly clarified that he did not know the contents of the cloth when taking the photo, and he thought that "this kind of photo is very inappropriate."

The left one is Jiang Zhenrong, the school inspector, and the right one is Zhan Jixiang, headmaster of Nanzhuang Junior High School.

There is a shortfall of 300000 in one semester for nutritious lunch. Chinese enterprises donate atmospheric donations for one year at a time.

Zhan Jixiang, principal of Nanzhuang Junior High School, said that the Miaoli county government was short of money and abolished the school nutritious lunch subsidy in 105 years and changed it to parents' full payment, which would cost an extra 4360 yuan per semester. Nearly half of the 183students in Nanzhuang Middle School are aboriginal families who used to receive government subsidies. Since it was cancelled in 105, after deducting low-income families, poor families, families with sudden changes, and so on, they can receive full government subsidies. The average gap for nutritious lunches in the school is 300000 yuan per semester.

After learning about the plight of Nanzhuang Junior High School, Huang Jinyuan, chairman of Nanzhuang Shitoushan Quanhua Hall, donated a total of 1.2 million yuan to Nanzhuang Junior High School for two consecutive years (four semesters) in 105 and 106 years. However, due to the decrease in money for incense in recent years, coupled with the need for additional construction and maintenance of temple hardware facilities, Lion Tau Shan Quanhua Hall has not continued to donate to the school.

President Zhan Jixiang further explained that he did not know Hou Jiangshan, chairman of Shengping in Kyushu, but only knew that Hou Jiangshan went to Shitou Mountain to make incense and called on Chairman Huang Jinyuan, indicating that he wanted to donate money to the temple for meritorious deeds. Huang Jinyuan pushed the money along the river to transfer the money to Nanzhuang Junior High School and directly injected into the nutrition luncheon for the whole year.

Principal Zhan stressed that recently, the school has indeed been troubled by posts on social networking sites, but he focuses on such aspects as the real benefits of children and the relief of financial pressure on parents.

Local people: the Ministry of Education should be vigilant and take stock of the presence of Chinese capital in schools at all levels.

In this regard, some local people said privately that although they could not bear to be too harsh on the school, they were also worried, "is Miaoli really so poor?" It's so miserable that if we don't pay attention to it in the future, Chinese funds will definitely deceive stupid Taiwanese! "

If the Ministry of Education is determined and vigilant, it should aim at schools at all levels as soon as possible to sort out the flow and use of Chinese funds, as well as the degree of cross-strait exchanges in the educational sector, otherwise Chinese enterprises use funds to boil frogs in warm water on campuses, even if they feed students' stomachs, the ultimate sacrifice is likely to be a democratic and free way of life.
