Breeding method of three-spike duck
Sansui duck is a specialty of Qiandongnan Prefecture, Guizhou Province. it has the advantages of early maturity, wide adaptation and laying more eggs, and it is also resistant to rough feeding. It can lay up to 260 eggs a year. It is an excellent local variety for meat and eggs in China. So how to raise Sansui duck? Let's get to know it.
1. Construction of duck house
The first step for raising ducks is to build a duck house, which needs to be built on a sunny slope with flat ground, high terrain, sufficient light and close to the water source. The top of the duck house should be high, and the surrounding walls should be as high as 1.7, so as to prevent the three-spike duck from flying. There should be a sports ground outside the duck house, a good fence should be built around it, and there should be breeding troughs inside. We should pay attention to the breeding density. The area of the shed is determined by the number of ducks raised. Generally, 6-7 ducks are raised per square meter.
2. Raising ducklings
Ducklings should be well ventilated and insulated, and there should be disinfection and breeding equipment, as well as prevention of birds and mice, and the temperature in the nursery room should be well controlled. the temperature of the ducklings just coming out of the shell should be between 32 and 35 degrees a week, and can be appropriately reduced to 2-3 degrees in the second week. it can be reduced to 24-27 degrees after three weeks, and the normal temperature can be restored after the fourth week, but we need to pay attention to the temperature difference between morning and evening should not exceed 2 degrees. Ducklings can eat within 1-2 days after coming out of their shell. Before eating, they should first be given water, and then feed. The feed should first be soaked in clear water for several hours, and then fed until 60% full. With the growth of ducklings, the amount of feed is increasing. When it is raised for 1-2 weeks, it is necessary to start raising in groups, generally controlling about 30 ducklings per square meter and 15-20 ducklings per square meter at the age of three weeks.
3. Raising middle-aged ducks
If the middle-aged duck wants to grow fast, it should be done well in the preparation of feed, all the nutrients raised should be comprehensive, and it should not be lack or too much, especially during the laying period, sufficient nutrition must be ensured in order to increase the egg production. Generally feed three times a day, namely in the morning, morning, afternoon and evening, generally feed 120-150 grams per day, the egg laying period can be earlier than the protein ratio of the feed. After feeding the ducks in the summer, the ducks will be grazed like a river, which can save feed costs, let the ducks have a little activity, and its meat will taste better. In order to improve the laying rate, small-scale farming should be accompanied by one male duck for every 100 female ducks, while for large-scale farming, 200 female ducks should be matched with one male duck.
