Quail meat has the characteristics of high protein and low fat, so it is a kind of rare poultry meat which accords with the concept of modern consumption. Quail eggs are also very popular health eggs at present, so the scale of quail breeding has been expanding in recent years. So if we want to raise quails well, we need to improve our professional skills. So do we all know the problems that need to be paid attention to when raising quails? Let's learn it together.

1. Placement of cage houses

We oppress to adopt a hierarchical breeding model for quail breeding cages, while cages are generally placed in places with smooth ventilation, sunny, good light and good heat preservation effect. Secondly, there should be a certain inclination angle at the bottom of the cage to facilitate the collection of quail eggs. In the cage, defecation, diet, drinking water, lighting and so on should be set up to facilitate breeding management.

2. Feed configuration

Quail feed configuration is also required, if the feed is not up to standard, the survival rate of breeding is very low, not to mention fattening and laying eggs. Quail feed can not be single, so it is easy to cause nutrition imbalance, malnutrition phenomenon; there is to pay attention not to change the feed casually, otherwise it will affect the normal production of quail. Normal feed is composed of corn, bean cake, rapeseed cake, wheat bran, fish meal, crude bran, bone meal, salt, vitamins, antibiotics and other trace elements. Among them, corn accounted for 50%, while wheat bran accounted for 29%, while the total proportion of other contents was 21, and the proportion of salt was the lowest, generally 0.3%.

3. Temperature and humidity regulation

The adjustment of temperature and humidity in the breeding room is very important, especially in the brooding stage of quails. The indoor temperature of newly hatched quails is generally controlled at about 35 to 38 degrees Celsius. after a week, we can slowly lower the temperature and adjust the temperature to about 25 degrees, while in the later stage of breeding, we need to maintain a constant temperature of 25. This is very beneficial to the growth of quails. Finally, we should pay attention to keeping the temperature in the breeding room around 70% to 80%.

4. Daily hygiene

Quail's physique is still relatively good, so it is also easier to feed, but we should also pay attention to sanitary cleaning, so as to avoid bacterial infection. At the same time, we also need to keep the breeding environment in time, carry out regular disinfection and maintain reasonable indoor ventilation, otherwise healthy quails will get sick no matter how healthy they are.

5. Molting management

In the process of breeding, we also need to supervise the quail molting, if there is no self-molting, we also need to carry out artificial forced molting. However, manual molting is usually about two weeks after quails lay eggs, we have to stop feeding, let quails stop laying eggs, and molt quickly, and then resume production. In this moulting process, we also need to eliminate quails and ensure an adequate supply of drinking water.

These are the questions that the editor wants to share with you today about quail breeding. I hope I can help you. There is another point that the editor would like to remind everyone to pay attention to is the prevention and control of quail diseases and insect pests, although its physique is better, but it is still necessary to prepare for prevention.
