1. Garden

Litchi has certain requirements for planting gardens. In general, we all know that the field of vision of the litchi orchard is very open, and the planting land has a certain occasional reading, about 15 to 25 degrees. Secondly, the soil of the garden should be fertile, the soil should be soft, and the water source should be sufficient, preferably on the sunny slope.

2. Time

There is also a time requirement for litchi planting. Under normal circumstances, we sow seeds when the temperature picks up in April every year, which lasts until June. During this period, it is possible to sow seeds, and the seedling emergence rate of sown litchi is very high. Of course, we can also choose to sow in August and September, although its emergence rate is also very high, but the winter temperature is relatively low, so we need to take good preventive measures, otherwise the seedling mortality rate is very high.

3. Density

When planting, we should pay attention to the adjustment of density, the planting density should not be too dense, but we should also make full use of land resources, so we generally plant 50 to 60 litchi trees per mu. That is, the spacing between rows of each litchi tree is 3.5 to 4 meters, and the spacing between plants is 3 to 3.5 meters. 4. Temperature

The growth of litchi tree is very sensitive to temperature, once the temperature changes, litchi tree also has an obvious response. The temperature suitable for litchi growth is about 18 to 35 degrees, while the best temperature for litchi growth is 25 to 30 degrees. When the temperature is lower than 15 degrees, we need to keep it warm, or use the greenhouse to raise the temperature with other technologies. If the temperature is higher than 38 degrees, we need to increase permeability, watering and other ways to cool down.

5. Water and fertilizer

Litchi fertilization is mainly pre-flowering fertilizer and strong fruit fertilizer, pre-flowering fertilizer is mainly organic fertilizer, combined with about four jin of compound fertilizer, two jin of potash fertilizer can be used. Strong fruit fertilizer is generally applied two jin to four jin compound fertilizer and one jin to three jin urea, and appropriate spraying foliar fertilizer to maintain the tree potential. Litchi is also relatively sensitive to water, in the heading stage of litchi, to keep the soil moist, there must be no drought phenomenon; while in the stage of fruit growth and development, water should be balanced, otherwise it will affect the quality of litchi fruit, cracking fruit, or the fruit is light or not sweet.

6. Lighting

Litchi branch and leaf growth stage and flower bud differentiation stage, it is not very high requirements for light, but also need light, that is to say, it is avoid bright light during this period of time. If the light is too strong, it is easy to appear filament withering, pollination difficulties, dehydration and other phenomena, so we should build a shade shed to properly adjust the light intensity. However, when the fruit ripens, it is necessary to increase the light intensity, if the light intensity is not enough, it will affect the quality of litchi.
