When will the paulownia be sown?
For paulownia sowing, many flower friends ask when it is appropriate to sow. In theory, it is best to sow in spring and autumn, but in practice, many flower friends are sowing all the year round, and they are all going smoothly. Now the temperature and humidity conditions are very good, autumn sowing should pay attention to winter warmth (low temperature below 10 degrees will dormancy), if there is no heating, need to collect the ball to spend the winter.
It takes about 4-6 months from sowing to flowering, and the best germination temperature is about 22 ℃ (seed germination below 20 ℃ will not be very active). Generally speaking, it can germinate in 7-10 days, because the seeds are small, sowing should not be too dense, otherwise seedlings will be soaked in shallow water after sowing, and the basin will be covered with glass and placed in a semi-shaded place. Avoid strong light in the seedling stage, properly shade, avoid the trend of sunlight, and often spray with water to maintain high humidity. When the seedlings grow 4 true leaves, they are planted in small pots. Apply thin cake fertilizer and water every 10 days or so.
