I. Lighting conditions

The rhododendron needs plenty of sunlight in the growth stage, otherwise it will affect the growth of buds and bloom. In summer, when the sun shines directly in early autumn, plants should be shaded. Too strong sunlight will wither the leaves of rhododendrons and even cause the death of plants. Care should be taken to properly water and spray water on the leaves to prevent the soil from drying.

II. Soil quality requirements

The soil for breeding this kind of rhododendron had better be mixed into nutrient soil according to the proportion of two rotten leaf soil, one coarse river sand and one sand loam. The lowest pH value of soil is 5.5 and the highest is 6.5. Slightly acidic and well-ventilated soil is beneficial to plant growth, but viscous soil can easily lead to rotten roots.

Third, apply fertilizer

Cuckoos need to be fertilized every month. Do not use concentrated and raw fertilizers. Regular fertilization can ensure the nutritional needs of the plant at the bud stage and blossom more colorful.
