Haitong is also known as paulownia, alum, Qilixiang, Baozhu Xiang, Shan Ruixiang, Haitong flower genus, evergreen shrubs or small trees, up to 6 meters high. When does Haitong usually blossom? How much is the seedling price? Can I make a potted plant? How do you plant it? From the seedling base in Shuyang, Jiangsu Province, we learned that the 40CM, 50CM, 55CM and 100CM of Haitong seedlings are 1.20 yuan, 1.60 yuan, 2.5 yuan and 30 yuan respectively.

When does Haitong usually blossom?

1. It takes 2 years for Haitong to blossom. Haitong is a biennial plant, usually only grows roots and leaves in the year when the seeds germinate, and can not blossom and bear fruit until the second year of planting. Haitong has strong adaptability to climate, can withstand cold and summer heat, and is easy to plant without special management.

2. The flowering time of Haitong is about March-May every year, and the single flowering period is generally about 10-20 days. The flowers of Haitong are umbels or corymbose inflorescences terminal or subterminal, and the flowers are white and fragrant when they bloom, which is of high ornamental value.

Can Haitong be a potted plant?

Haitong IV can make potted plants.

1. Haitong likes warm, moist environment, sunshine and semi-shade, which requires loose and fertile soil. Sowing and propagation are often used in the south, and cutting propagation is more common in the north than in spring. When potted, young plants should change pots every spring, and adult plants should change pots every other year. When changing the basin, the dead branches should be cut off, new fertile soil should be added, and a small amount of bone powder should be used as base fertilizer.

2. During the growing season, water is often sprayed on the leaf surface to maintain its luster. Watering should be "dry and wet". Thin cake fertilizer should be applied 1 or 2 times before and after flowering, stop fertilization during flowering, and properly control the amount of watering to prevent falling flowers. Cold Dew in the north enters the house after the holiday to spend the winter. After entering the room, put it in the sunny place and keep the room temperature above 5 ℃. Pay attention to proper ventilation and increase indoor air humidity. When scale insects are found to be harmful, they should be eliminated in time. When the room temperature is low in winter, watering should be strictly controlled to make it fully dormant to facilitate the growth and flowering of the following year.

3. Haitong has strong branching force and resistance to pruning. In order not to make it grow into a tufted shrub, it should be pruned from the seedlings. When the plant grows to about 30 cm, it should be kept at the top of about 20 cm to promote its sprouting lateral branches. when the lateral branch grows to a certain length, it will be coring again, and cut off the roots and tillers in time. A short cut is made before entering the house after autumn, and the crown is trimmed into a ball shape to improve the ornamental value.

How to plant Haitong?

1. Haitong is more resistant to drought. If a large amount of water is consumed in summer, it should be watered frequently; in winter, if the temperature is low, the amount of water should be reduced accordingly. The air humidity should be about 50%. It requires fertile soil. Fertilizer is applied 1-2 times a month during the growing season, but there is no need to apply fertilizer at ordinary times. The young plants change the pots every year, and the adult plants change the pots every 2-3 years. The pot was mixed with 1x3 rotten leaf soil and 2par 3 clay or loam. Strong sprouting ability, resistant to pruning. It can be trimmed into various shapes every spring.

2. Haitong is easy to cultivate and does not need special management. Open-field transplants are usually carried out in March. If planted in autumn, it should be around October. Big seedlings must be bundled with ropes before digging to prevent breaking branches, and must bring soil balls when digging, and the size of the soil balls depends on the thickness of the trunk. Seedlings can be transplanted with bare roots, but also in time. The potted paulownia should be changed every spring, and the withered roots should be cut off when changing the pot, and the newly cultivated soil containing more organic matter should be added to the basin soil.

3. Haitong has strong branching ability and resistance to pruning. It needs pruning and shaping at the beginning of spring in order to maintain a beautiful tree shape. If you want to restrain its growth and propagate its branches and leaves, you should cut its top when it grows to the corresponding height. It has also been trimmed into various forms. It can be put outdoors in summer or in a cool place in the shade of flowers if possible. Strong light does no harm to the plant. The air humidity is about 50%. The suitable growth temperature is 15-30 ℃, and the lowest temperature is 5 ℃ in a cold and non-freezing room in winter. If a large amount of water is consumed in summer, it should be watered frequently; in winter, if the temperature is low, the amount of water will be reduced accordingly. Fertilizer is applied every two weeks in the growing season, and rotational fertilizer is not used in other periods. Although Haitong is shade-tolerant, the planting site should not be too shady and the plants should not be too dense, otherwise it is easy to cause damage by cotton scale, and flies often cluster in flowering, so attention should be paid to prevention and control.
