Garlic stalk is also called garlic moss, of course, some areas also become garlic seedlings. If you really want to distinguish between garlic bolts and garlic seedlings, there is a certain difference. Garlic bolts on the market are still very popular, but a small number of people don't like it because it belongs to a heavy-flavored vegetable. So how to plant garlic stalks? Next, let's take a look at the introduction of garlic stalk planting technology.

1. Fine farming

Garlic is a highly adaptable vegetable, which is easy to grow and has a high survival rate, which shows that it does not have high requirements for planting land. Garlic bolts can be planted in almost all the fields that can be used to grow vegetables, but it is best to grow garlic bolts in plots with loose soil texture and good ventilation. Turn the soil deeply, make the soil fine and flat, and then make a ditch according to the width of 1.5 meters. It is best to spread enough soil fertilizer or organic fertilizer, mix a small amount of cake fertilizer, fully mix with the soil, if the pH of the soil is not up to standard, you can also use chemical fertilizer to improve the soil quality. Finally, after disinfecting the soil, leveling the border and dredging the ditch, we can sow the seeds.

2. Sowing and raising seedlings

As there are more and more varieties of garlic bolts, garlic bolts can basically be planted all the year round. However, according to the previous planting tradition of garlic stalks, it is usually planted in August or September every year. Although garlic bolts have a high budding rate and are easy to grow, it is best to soak them in water for 12 hours before sowing, and then put them into special agents to mix the seeds, fish them out and dry them. Put the treated seeds evenly according to the row spacing of 20 cm and the plant spacing of 10 cm. Finally, cover the seeds with soil, water them again, cover with a layer of plastic film or cover with a layer of straw.

3. Seedling stage management

After sowing, seedlings usually emerge in about ten days, so we need to be prepared to break the membrane and remove the straw in advance. During this period of seedling emergence, if we encounter a lack of seedlings, we need to use a small hoe or wire to see whether the seeds are necrotic or cannot emerge on their own, and then assist in seedling emergence. If the soil is relatively dry, proper water spraying is needed to ensure the normal growth of the seedlings. When the seedlings grow to about ten centimeters or so, it is necessary to interplant the excess seedlings.

4. Field management

After planting, properly watering, in order to promote the growth of seedlings, we also need topdressing, mainly nitrogen fertilizer, but need to be irrigated after water. In the growth process of garlic bolts, we need many times of topdressing, especially in bolting, nutrients must be sufficient, so as to ensure the yield and quality of garlic bolts.

That's all for the introduction of garlic stalk planting technology that the editor wants to share with you today. I hope it can help you planting friends.
