3. Fruit thinning

Fruit thinning is generally carried out after the young fruit is stable, that is, about 1 month after fruit setting, when the fruit has not yet entered the rapid expansion period, fruit thinning can make the fruit evenly distributed, the number is moderate, and the average fruit weight is about 50-60 grams. First of all, we should thin out abnormal fruits, diseased fruits, injured fruits and frozen fruits, and then thin out some fruits with less growth in batches. When thinning fruit, try to select some young fruits with similar size, color, position and orientation, which can save harvesting time. The number of fruits per panicle should be determined according to the variety and tree vigor. Generally, 2-4 grains per panicle for large fruits and 3-5 grains for medium fruits.
