Strawberry is a perennial herb, flowering from April to May and fruiting from June to July. Strawberry has high nutritional value, contains a variety of nutrients, and has health care effect. So how to manage the propagation of strawberries, a perennial herb? How to control diseases and insect pests?

I. Management measures of strawberry seedling field

1. To strengthen the management of fertilizer and water, after planting, it is necessary to pour through the fixed root water and water it for 3 times to keep it moist, conducive to survival, enter the rainy season, and pay attention to drainage. After the planting survived, the seedlings were raised with 5 kg urea per mu and entered the vigorous growth period (stolon occurrence period). The ternary compound fertilizer was applied twice and the dosage per mu was controlled at 5 kg per mu.

2. After removing inflorescences, old leaves and diseased leaves, the inflorescences of flower buds on the mother plant are often removed to concentrate nutrients and promote the vegetative growth and stolon of the mother plant. And often remove the old leaves and diseased leaves, which is conducive to plant ventilation, light transmission, and promote the healthy growth of mother plants and seedlings.

3. After stolon finishing, the mother plant should be checked in the field frequently, and the stolon should be kept at a certain distance. When a large number of stolons occur, the stolons that are close to each other are pulled apart to make them evenly distributed and prevent crossing or overlapping. At the same time, in order to make the adventitious roots on the stolon nodes go into the soil in time, the adventitious rhizome segments on the stolons are stabilized with soil.

4. Mid-tillage herbicide strawberries are sensitive to herbicides, so they should be used carefully. In general, manual weeding is safe, from mother plant colonization to stolon occurrence, the soil is easy to harden due to frequent irrigation, so shallow ploughing and loosening soil should be adopted to facilitate the occurrence of seedlings to take root. Stolon occurrence period, it is a lot of Rain Water, weeds season, to often pull out weeds.

II. Control of diseases and insect pests

The common pests of strawberry propagation seedlings are grubs, aphids, Spodoptera litura and so on. The main diseases are snake eye disease, anthrax and so on.

The grub was irrigated with 1000 times of 90% crystal trichlorfon or 1000 times of phoxim EC.

Aphids and Spodoptera litura were sprayed with 10% imidacloprid 1000-1500 times or 1.8% avermectin EC 3000 times.

Anthrax and snake eye disease were used alternately with 1000 times of 70% methyl topiramate wettable powder or 75% chlorothalonil wettable powder, sprayed once every 7 days, and sprayed 3 Mel 4 times.
