Artemisia annua is a very popular wild vegetable at present, its edible value and medicinal value are relatively high. Now there is also large-scale Artemisia annua planting on the market, so what should we pay attention to in Artemisia annua planting? What are the precautions? Let's read the following content together with Xiaobian.

1. Soil

Although Artemisia annua is a wild vegetable, it also has certain requirements for the growing environment, that is to say, not all planting areas are suitable for planting Artemisia annua. So when we choose Artemisia annua planting land, it is best to choose land with abundant water resources, convenient irrigation, sufficient fertilizer, high terrain, four-star flat and good drainage. Such terrain as depressions and valleys is not suitable for planting Artemisia annua.

2. Density

The density of Artemisia annua planting is also something we need to pay attention to when planting. Under normal circumstances, one mu of land can grow 1,000 to 1,200 Artemisia annua plants, which means that one mu of land can not exceed 1,200 plants at most, otherwise the permeability of the field will become worse, affecting the normal growth of Artemisia annua. In the case of better soil and fertilizer, we plant according to the row spacing of about 80 cm and the plant spacing of about 70 cm.

3. Moisture

After planting Artemisia annua, we should pay attention to water management in the field to avoid ponding or excessive water and soil drought in the field. In order to promote the growth of Artemisia annua, the humidity of the soil in the field is generally maintained at about 50%, that is, touching the ground with your hand, you can feel a slight moisture. When the moisture in the field is too high, it is necessary to drain water in time to avoid water damage and affect the quality of Artemisia annua.

4. Fertilization

Artemisia annua fertilization is very particular, we are usually divided into three stages. The first stage is generally about five to seven days after planting Artemisia annua. We mainly use compound fertilizer and farm manure for topdressing. The dosage per mu is about 15 jin, which can be applied by furrow or shower. The second stage is about half a month after planting, fertilization is the same as the first stage, but the amount of fertilizer is increased to about 35 jin, and furrow fertilization is carried out. The third stage is about one month after planting, the fertilizer type is the same as that of the first and second stages, but the fertilizer amount is increased to 50 jin, and furrow fertilization is carried out. After fertilization, if we are afraid of fertilizer damage, we can water, which can dilute the concentration of fertilizer and promote nutrient absorption.

These are basically the precautions for Artemisia annua planting. If you have other content to add, you can leave us a message below to share and discuss with us.
