Compared with ordinary rice, hybrid rice has many advantages, such as strong growth ability, developed roots and more grains. It is a kind of rice variety with high economic value. At present, most of the rice varieties in China are hybrid rice. So how to grow hybrid rice in order to achieve high yield? The following editor brings you the high-yield cultivation techniques of hybrid rice, let's have a look!

1. Select the place to promote budding

Before planting, we should choose a plot with normal drainage and irrigation and adequate water supply, which is leeward, sunny, rich in organic matter and less grass. Then apply sufficient base fertilizer in the field, the base fertilizer is mainly rotten farm manure, combined with appropriate amount of calcium and potassium fertilizer. The soil will be broken and leveled, and the soil moisture will be adjusted to make beds according to the planting area. Then expose the seeds to the sun for about two days, wash them with water again, and select the dried and empty seeds. Soak the seeds with carbendazim for one day, wash them and put them into a bucket to accelerate germination. When more than half of the seeds are exposed to white, they can be sown.

2. Sowing management

Before sowing, the nursery bed should be prepared according to the field specifications, and the nursery bed should be sprayed with water again after finishing the nursery bed to fill the soil thoroughly. Then sprinkle the seeds comprehensively and evenly on the seedbed, gently press them into the soil and cover a layer of fine soil, mainly without seeds. Weeding should be done well after sowing, chemical weeding should not be used when weeding, and should be watered properly according to the water content of the seedbed. Usually rice should be watered about 4 times during the whole growth period. Then urea was applied to hybrid rice 7 days before transplanting, including a true leaf, a heart leaf and seven days before transplanting.

3. Timely transplanting

Before transplanting, we should first make preparations for planting in the field, pay attention to the water in the field, block the drain, and prevent water loss. Then ammonium bicarbonate, calcium superphosphate and other fertilizers were applied in the field to provide adequate nutrition for the seedlings. Then transplant the seedlings in the nursery bed when they grow to about one and a half months. When transplanting and planting, we should pay attention to control the density. Generally, there are special density planning tools in rural areas, which can be used flexibly. About 3 seedlings were inserted into each cluster to improve the lodging resistance of rice, increase the yield and prevent some unnecessary losses.

4. Field management

When the rice seedlings enter the green period, they should be irrigated with green water in time, but the water should not be too much, and small water should promote tillering. Attention should be paid to controlling the number of tillers to prevent excessive ineffective tillers, consuming too much nutrition and affecting the growth of rice. Control the growth of seedlings and achieve the purpose of seedling control only when there are white roots. Then urea should be applied in time after transplanting and planting for about a week, and once after turning green combined with watering. Finally, herbicides should be used reasonably and evenly spread per mu to achieve the effect of weeding, preferably with topdressing.

The above is a brief introduction to the high-yield cultivation techniques of hybrid rice. The planting method of hybrid rice is actually similar to that of ordinary rice. The main reason is that the varieties are different, so after we have selected the varieties and done the seed disinfection and germination, we can grow hybrid rice in accordance with the planting method of ordinary rice. That's all for today's introduction. This article is for reference only. Thank you for your reading and support.
