1. It likes a cool environment. The area south of the Yellow River can be kept in a shady and ventilated place outside from mid-April to early November, with strong sunshine and high temperature in summer, which must be placed in a shade shed or tree shade to create a cool growth environment of semi-overcast and rain; in winter, it is appropriate to put it in a greenhouse or indoor maintenance, keeping the temperature above 5 ℃.

2. Watering needs attention. No dry, no watering, watering thoroughly, strictly prevent waist water, this is the principle of rhododendron watering. Because azaleas like acidity, it is best to acidify the water with black alum before use. When watering, Rain Water must be used for watering. If tap water is used, tap water must be used after drying, because the roots of azaleas are relatively weak, and they are both afraid of waterlogging and are not resistant to drought, so special attention should be paid to controlling the amount of water. Under normal circumstances, spring and autumn can be watered every 2-3 days. It grows vigorously in summer and consumes a lot of water, so it needs to be watered 1-2 times a day. Watering time should be 8-10:00 and 4-6 pm, hot summer is not suitable for watering at noon, after the root is stimulated by cold water, flowers will be hurt.

3. Requirements of fertilization and basin soil. Azaleas like acid soils that are loose, permeable, well drained and contain humus. Generally, rotten cake fertilizer and fish meal are watered with water after decaying. After leaving the room, before the flower buds spit out flowers, thin fertilizer is applied every 10 days, with a concentration of 15%, and a total of 3 times of 2 mi, so as to promote the old leaves to turn green and sprout new roots. After the flowers fade, in order to promote the growth of branches and leaves, fertilization was applied 6 times from mid-May to early July. If it rains continuously, dry fertilizer can be applied. Before entering the house, before the growth of azaleas is about to stop, fertilizers should be applied for 1 / 2 times.

Rhododendron has a wide variety, gorgeous color and delicate flower shape. It is a famous spring and summer flowering plant in the world. If we can make the azaleas blossom during the Spring Festival, it will bring spring to the motivation of cold.

In the severe winter season from December to February, put the potted rhododendron in a non-toxic plastic bag together with the bottom of the pot and fasten it firmly in the sun for four hours a day (cloudy days can be replaced by electric light), and the temperature in the bag can be 5-7 ℃ higher than the indoor temperature. In this way, as long as you have four hours of sunshine every day, the temperature at night is not lower than 9 ℃, and you put on a plastic bag for about 50 days, you will be able to spend all your branches.

The following points must also be noted:

Varieties: select early flowering varieties: such as cold peony, white peony, crown, Fengming brocade, Danding, peony, spring friendship, welcome spring and so on.

Heating: the flowering period of early flowering varieties is not the same. First store the plants at a temperature below 10 ℃. If you want to blossom during the Spring Festival, you need to put on a plastic bag to warm up 40 days in advance. Among them, cold peony, white peony, Fengming brocade and so on, generally more than 30 days in advance.

Watering: use the basin method, the water temperature can not be lower than the room temperature, usually as long as keep the basin soil slightly wet. It should be noted that the temperature in the bag is not too high. If it is too high, the mouth of the bag should be loosened, and some heat should be released and then tied tightly.

When the blossom sees the cuckoo in the plastic bag, you can remove the plastic bag, stop heating and keep the temperature around 10 ℃. Spray the same water as room temperature once or twice a day, and the florescence can be maintained for 30 to 40 days.
