The normal flowering period of azaleas is usually between April and June. If you take good care of them during the flowering period, the azaleas will continue to bloom for about a month. If they are not taken care of carefully, the azaleas can only bloom for a week or two, and then gradually wither and change color, so the flowering period of azaleas must be taken care of carefully in order to ensure that the flowers are luxuriant.

Azaleas usually bloom three times a year, in spring, summer and between spring and summer. Spring rhododendrons usually blossom from April to May and begin to grow new leaves after flowering; summer rhododendrons usually bloom from May to June, during which they grow leaves first and then blossom; and between spring and summer, azaleas bloom in full bloom. But with the development of modern technology, people can make azaleas blossom all the year round.

In order to ensure that the cuckoo can blossom normally, it should ensure sufficient light and not be exposed to the sun, and water it once every morning and evening, with less watering and more times. In addition, it is necessary to control the temperature, preferably at about 20 degrees Celsius. Too high or too low temperature will affect the blooming of rhododendrons. In the first few years of the cultivation of rhododendron, in order to speed up the formation of its stem skeleton, the buds can be removed before flowering to promote the growth of branches.

In addition, rhododendrons that are cut immediately after flowering can blossom in late October; if they are properly pruned during the peak growing season, the flowering period of rhododendrons can be delayed by about 40 days; if they are pruned in combination with cuttings, the flowering period of rhododendrons can be delayed to February of the following year.
