The method of planting Chinese rose flowers

1. Hardwood cuttings

Hard branch cuttings are also known as dormant branches. The roses cultivated in open field were planted with 1-year-old branches after falling leaves in autumn and before sprouting in spring. Usually can choose winter pruning down disease and insect pest-free, xylem full, full bud branches as cuttings. The cuttings are 10-12 cm long and have 3-4 buds.

In the place of high dryness, shelter from the wind and the sun, make a high bed as a bed, after the land is leveled, first cover the plastic film, and then cut cuttings, in order to improve the soil temperature and promote rooting. The cuttings were inserted into the soil 1 / 2 / 2, keeping one bud out of the soil, with a cutting distance of 8 ~ 10 square meters, about 100,140 plants per square meter.

After insertion, it will take root in the Yangtze River Basin in late February, and new shoots will be taken out in March. It can be transplanted in 5 ~ 6 months. If the hard branch cuttings are carried out in October, they can root before winter and sprout in spring, and the seedling quality is better.

2. Green branches and cuttings

Green branch cuttings are also called soft branches cuttings. It is in the growing period of the rose, using the new shoots of the rose in the same year. It is usually carried out in summer and autumn from June to October. When the top flower of the new shoot is destroyed, the full and spore-filled branches below the flower are cut as cuttings. The cuttings are 10 cm long and have three buds. The upper bud cut is 0.6-0.8 cm away from the bud tip, and the lower bud is 0.2-0.3 cm away from the bud base. The leaf is removed by inserting the node of the cutter.

The aboveground part keeps 1-2-node buds, with 1-2 leaves, and cut off some leaflets appropriately according to the situation. The bed matrix is made of loose and permeable materials such as clean river sand or vermiculite, perlite, rice chaff ash and so on. The distance between cuttings is 40.5 square meters, with 400,600 cuttings per square meter.

Large-scale production can be equipped with automatic spraying device for full-light seedlings, smaller scale can be used to connect the spray head of the sprayer to the tap pipe, and the spraying time can be controlled manually. About 10-15 days after insertion, roots can be rooted, and seedlings can be set aside in about 20 days.

The most convenient way to insert Chinese rose flowers

First of all, after the rose flower fades, cut off the residual flowers first. After a week or two, when the first axillary bud on the flower branch grows stout, you can cut three sections of cuttings from the flower branch.

The second step is to remove the bottom leaves, leaving only the top three or four leaves. Then cut the lower flower handle into a bevel with a clean and sharp blade and insert it into a prepared bottle filled with clean water. The insert can be inserted into about 1/3 of the water.

The third step, in order to make the incision grow new roots, it is best to use a dark bottle, or wrap the bottle with a layer of black plastic film. At the same time, do not let the flowers directly bask in the sun.

Fourth, in order to avoid moldy flowers and branches, it is best to change clean water once a day.

Finally, after about three weeks, the flower branches will grow roots, and when the young roots grow to about two centimeters, they can be transplanted into the pot. In order to improve the survival rate, it is best to water once a day at the beginning of transplanting, and then gradually reduce.
