The leaves are 3-7 meters long, 3-4.5 meters wide and about 1 meter thick. Leaves green or dark green, slightly glossy, densely covered with small verrucous process, so that the leaves appear rough. Raceme, scape 20-30 m high, florets drooping, lower orange-red, upper green, because of drooping growth, it looks red on the top and green on the bottom.

Crouching Niujin leaves are thick and rough, with sharp contrast between yellow and green, and the well has luster. Due to its slow growth and little morphological change, it is like a living antique, giving people a sense of antique; and because of its unstable characters, seedling variability is a rare and precious variety of succulent plants, which is suitable for lovers as varieties to collect and cultivate. The spring and autumn season is the peak period for the growth of lying cattle, and sufficient light should be given.
