Last Updated: 2024/11/21, There are many kinds of potted flowers, the origin is different, and the requirements for potted soil are also different. According to the requirements of all kinds of flowers, the required materials should be mixed and prepared according to a certain proportion. In general, there are three kinds of conventional culture soil for potted flowers.

Potted flower variety, different origins, the requirements of the pot soil are not the same. According to the requirements of various flowers, the required materials should be mixed according to a certain proportion. Generally, there are three main types of preparation of potted flower conventional culture soil, and the preparation ratio is:

1. 2 parts of loose culture soil, 6 parts of decaying leaf soil and 2 parts of river sand.

2. 4 parts of neutral culture soil, 4 parts of decaying leaf soil and 2 parts of river sand.

3. 6 clayey garden soil, 2 moldy leaf soil and 2 river sand.

Different types of culture soil can be selected according to the requirements of different flower species. Loose culture soil should be selected for general seedlings and succulent and pulpy species; neutral culture soil should be selected for perennial roots and bulbs; clay culture soil should be selected for woody species and pile scenes.

When preparing culture soil, a certain amount of organic fertilizer should also be considered as base fertilizer. The amount of base fertilizer should be determined according to the flower type and plant size. Base fertilizer should be mixed with culture soil one month before use.

The materials used to prepare the culture soil must be disinfected before use to kill germs and pests. Summer disinfection, generally the preparation of soil materials spread on the cement field, insolation for about 10 days, that is, the use of high temperature, ultraviolet rays to kill bacteria and pests, to achieve the purpose of disinfection, can also be used 50% formaldehyde or 0.5% potassium permanganate disinfection.

How to prepare culture soil for family flower culture

Indoor and greenhouse flowers are mostly planted in pots. Due to the limited volume of flower pots and the long growth period of plants, on the one hand, it is required that the culture soil has sufficient nutrients, on the other hand, it is required that the culture soil has a good structure, the size of the pores is appropriate, there is a certain function of water conservation and fertilizer conservation, and there is good ventilation. Therefore, artificial preparation of mixed soil is required, and this soil is called culture soil. There are many kinds of flowers and different living habits. The cultivation soil should be adjusted according to the characteristics of flowers and materials. The formula of general culture soil is as follows:

① The formula of common grass flower culture soil is: rotten leaf soil 30%+ garden soil 50%+ river sand 20% or pond mud 3 parts + compost 1 part + chaff ash 1 part.

(2) The formula of woody flower culture soil: moldy leaf soil 40%+ garden soil 50%+ river sand 10%.

(3) The formula of sowing culture soil: moldy leaf soil 50%+ garden soil 30%+ river sand 20% or garden soil 2 parts + chaff ash 1 part + river sand 1 part.

4. The formula of greenhouse flower culture soil: moldy leaf soil 40%+ garden soil 40%+ river sand 20%.

(5) The formula of cultivating soil for shady and wet flowers: 2 parts of decaying leaf soil +1 part of river sand +1 part of sawdust or peat.

6. Acid-loving flower culture soil formula: mountain mud or garbage soil 2 parts + sawdust or peat 1 part.

7. Cuttage soil culture soil formula: garden soil 50%+ holyamine bran ash 50%.

Flower and fruit plants, but also in the soil to add a small amount of bone meal or calcium superphosphate, to supplement the soil phosphorus and potassium.

How to prepare culture soil in family culture Artificial culture soil is the most ideal soil for greenhouse flower cultivation. The following are several common greenhouse potted flower culture soil preparation methods. Acidic or slightly acidic culture soil: most of the soil in the northern region is alkaline or slightly alkaline reaction, and should not be directly used to cultivate greenhouse potted flowers that like acidic or slightly acidic soil. To raise this kind of potted flowers, we must use artificial compost of decaying leaf soil. The method of stacking is: collecting some fallen leaves and grass at ordinary times, stacking them with no alkali vegetable garden mature soil layer, and the size of the mound can be determined according to the amount of decayed leaf soil needed. The outside of the pile should be sealed with grass paste, and a concave hole should be left at the top. Some human excrement and liquid fertilizer should be poured into the hole frequently. After a summer of high temperature fermentation, it is fully decomposed. Wait until next spring to take out after mixing sieve, then mix 20% fine yellow sand, after fully mixing can be used. Coniferous humus soil is strongly acidic, especially coniferous humus soil. Coniferous soil can also be piled artificially in the same way as decaying soil. In addition, you can also dig up ready-made coniferous soil from nearby mountain coniferous forests, sift it, and then mix 10% garden soil, 20% fine yellow sand and a small amount of sifted decomposed dung, and mix it well. Neutral or slightly alkaline culture soil: 3% vegetable garden mature soil or loess, 4% fine yellow sand, 2% decayed leaf soil and 1% fully decomposed dung, sifted and fully mixed, that is, can be used. Can also be used to pour the old pot of soil mashed sieve, and then mixed with a small amount of decomposed manure water mix well after use, but not as ideal as the new preparation of culture soil, only suitable for cultivation of cacti and other multi-pulp plants. Cultivation soil for transplanting new propagation seedlings: 1 into garden soil, 2 into decayed leaf soil and 5 into fine yellow sand, after screening and mixing can be used.
