In order to make effective use of animal husbandry wastewater, Pingtung County Environmental Protection Bureau began to promote the use of biogas residue and biogas slurry after fermentation treatment of livestock wastewater as fertilizer since 105 years. Wang Yixuan explained that after 10 days of anaerobic fermentation, the organic matter of animal husbandry wastewater will become biogas volatilization, and the odor will be greatly reduced, while the remaining biogas residue and biogas slurry leave a lot of nitrogenous substances, which are suitable to be irrigated on farmland as nitrogen fertilizer, but because there is less potassium in biogas slurry, farmers should pay attention to supplement potassium when using it.

Yang Shengxiong, a farmer with two years' experience in using biogas slurry and biogas residue, said that agricultural and animal husbandry wastewater does not have a bad smell after fermentation, so there is no need to worry that it will affect the surrounding people. no heavy metal or salt damage has been found, and even nearby rice farmers have found the benefits of biogas slurry as fertilizer and asked how to apply for watering.

Yang Shengxiong said that after his jujube garden began to use biogas liquid mixed chemical fertilizer for watering, compared with the previous use of chemical fertilizer and organic fertilizer alone, about 2 / 3 of the fertilizer cost was saved, and the jujube looked much better. As long as more potash fertilizer is added during flowering and fruiting period, the sweetness of jujube will be improved.

Wang Yixuan pointed out that in order to promote the reuse of animal husbandry wastewater, he applied to the Environmental Protection Department for about 7 million yuan last year to purchase two brand-new tankers, plus four tankers borrowed from Linluo Township in 105, which were responsible for carrying biogas dregs and biogas slurry for farmers to use. however, it is difficult to effectively transport biogas residue to various farmland by relying solely on the four tankers in the county. It is suggested that farmers should use the treated biogas residue and biogas slurry nearby. The EPA will assist in applying to the agricultural administration unit for use and assisting in drawing pipelines and watering.
