Compared to Green Apple Paradise, everyone is no stranger. But for green apple bamboo taro, I believe many people have never heard of it. As a material for interior decoration, the contribution of green apple bamboo taro to the indoor environment should not be underestimated. So, how should green apple bamboo taro be cultured?

I. Culture methods of green apple and bamboo taro

1. Lighting

Green apple and bamboo taro prefer semi-shade and avoid strong light exposure. From the mid-spring to the Mid-Autumn Festival, it is required to build a shed to shade, the sun is too strong, easy to lead to pale and dry leaves, and even serious burns. But the light can not be too weak, otherwise it will cause the leaves to become thinner and dull, losing the fresh beauty they should have. Therefore, potted plants placed in the greenhouse in winter should be given supplementary light. Potted plants usually placed indoors for display and viewing should be placed in a place with sufficient scattered light or in front of the window.

2. Moisture

Green apple bamboo taro likes to be moist, avoid drought, and dry air can easily lead to scorched leaf margin and poor growth. During the growing season, in addition to watering once a day, foliar and environmental spraying should also be strengthened to keep the air relative humidity above 85% to 90%. When the cold winter comes, in addition to paying attention to heat preservation, watering should also be strictly controlled. at this time, when the basin soil is too wet, it is easy to cause root rot, and keep the basin soil slightly dry, even if the leaves wither, the plant will pull out new leaves again after the return of air in spring. When the new leaves begin to germinate, they should not be watered too much. With the increase of new leaves, the amount of water should be increased gradually, which is beneficial to the robust growth of the plant.

II. Matters needing attention in the culture of green apple and bamboo taro

The ventilation of green apple and bamboo taro needs to be carried out when the external temperature is above 16 ℃, which can be blown directly on the plant, but the ventilation rate should be reduced or not ventilated in case of strong wind to prevent the leaves from being damaged. Less than 16 ℃ is not suitable for more ventilation, which is not conducive to its growth, and gentle wind can also be used to improve air quality. Ventilation is needed both at night and during the day, only in autumn during the day, and reduced or not ventilated at night because of low temperature, mainly to protect bamboo taro.

During the growth period, green apple bamboo taro can be irrigated with dilute organic fertilizer once a week. When potted plants are displayed at home or in public places, 0.2% urea and 0.1% potassium dihydrogen phosphate can be poured or sprayed. After entering summer, when the temperature is higher than 32 ℃, fertilizer should be stopped. In late autumn and early winter, if the temperature in the greenhouse is lower than 18 ℃, all forms of topdressing should be stopped, otherwise it is easy to cause fertilizer damage to rotting roots.

III. Maintenance of green apple and bamboo taro

Temperature management: green apple and bamboo taro like warm plants, 20 ℃ 28 ℃ is suitable for growth, when it is higher than 32 ℃ or lower than 10 ℃, the plant will stop growing and the overwintering temperature is not lower than 10 ℃.

Humidity management: green apple bamboo taro likes the humid environment, the matrix should always be kept moist, can not wait until the substrate is completely dry before pouring. Generally, when the surface of the matrix is slightly dry and white, and when the middle and lower part of the matrix is moist, it is watered thoroughly. The air relative humidity is controlled at 75% to 85%. If not, spray water on the leaves of the plant and sprinkle water on the ground around the plant to keep the air moist.

The above introduction to the cultivation of green apple bamboo taro, for beginners, may also need to do more homework, so that the green apple bamboo taro culture beyond your imagination, become the highlight of interior decoration.
