How jasmine cultivation should be carried out, for jasmine, we are familiar with, but in the specific operation is not very clear, and then invite you to discuss the jasmine planting methods and matters needing attention.

I. planting methods of jasmine flowers

Temperature management

Jasmine is sensitive to temperature, likes warm, hot and humid climate, can withstand higher temperature, is afraid of low temperature, and has poor drought resistance. The potted jasmine flowers in the jasmine garden should all enter the joint greenhouse at the beginning of November, and a small arch shed should be set up in the greenhouse to cover the grass curtain, which is normally ventilated and wet during the day, and there is generally no need to heat it at night, but when the outdoor low temperature is above-5 ℃, it should be boiled water in the greenhouse, steam heating, so that the temperature in the greenhouse is not lower than 0 ℃.

Pelvic body

The basin body is mainly plastic basin, and the survival rate of jasmine is up to 90%. The survival rate of using tile basin is about 80%, its growth potential is not as exuberant as plastic pot plant, the leaf is smaller, is not tolerant to drought, and it is basically watered every day. According to the analysis of the reason, because the tile basin is gray and black, it is easy to absorb heat under direct sunlight. At noon on a sunny day, the tile basin is about 5 ℃ higher than the plastic basin, and the soil temperature in the basin is also 3 / 4 ℃ higher. Therefore, when planting in the open air, it is better to use a white, non-endothermic plastic basin.

Cover sunshade

Cover the sunshade net during the germination of the jasmine (at the end of May). Direct sunlight is easy to drought and branches are easy to lose water, which has a great influence on the germination of new buds. Therefore, in the initial stage of planting, to cover the sunshade net and maintain humidity is conducive to the rapid germination of buds.

The shading net is not covered during the growing period of jasmine (at the end of June). Jasmine is a light-loving plant, so strengthening light is beneficial to its growth and growth during the growing period of jasmine.

II. Matters needing attention in planting jasmine flowers

1. Matters needing attention in fertilization: in the process of jasmine culture, special attention should be paid to fertilizing jasmine. In general, light bean cake water should be applied every 7 days from May, and thin fertilizer should be applied frequently in the bud and flowering period, about every 5 days. Fertilization was stopped in October. Every rainy season in outdoor cultivation, instead of applying dry fertilizer, such as using bean cake powder (loose soil on the surface of the basin, add bean cake powder, cover with soil).

2. Watering precautions: Jasmine likes acidic soil, and 0.2% ferrous sulfate is applied every 10 days during the growing period to keep the soil acidic. Proper regulation of water content of jasmine is the key to cultivation: Jasmine likes to be moist and afraid of stagnant water, and the basin soil is too wet and easy to rot roots and leaves and even die.

3. Put the jasmine in a warm and sunny place in winter to avoid freezing damage to the plant. You can also use a plastic bag to cover the whole plant, and cutting a small hole at the top can also play a role in heat preservation, moisturizing and anti-freezing. The cold resistance of potted jasmine can be improved by applying more phosphorus and potassium fertilizer.

4. Jasmine flowers only grow branches and leaves and do not blossom because of excessive application of nitrogen fertilizer or lack of sunlight. Therefore, when the jasmine enters the vigorous growth period, we should strictly control the application amount of nitrogen fertilizer and bask in the sun more, so as to prevent the plant from overgrowing.

III. Harvest, storage and transportation of jasmine

The main results are as follows: (1) the harvest standard of jasmine: fresh buds that are white and full, ready to bloom, and can open fragrant buds that night. Jasmine flowers are harvested one at a time, and the harvested flowers are required to have buds, stalks, disease-free buds, no yellow green buds, no stems and leaves and other sundries.

(2) Storage and transportation: fresh jasmine should be filled with ventilated bamboo Trichosanthes and nylon mesh bags. Avoid the sun, store in a cool place, and sell it in time after picking.

The above has made an understanding of the planting methods and breeding precautions of jasmine. I hope you can learn about the cultivation of jasmine by yourself while you like jasmine.
