Narcissus, also known as Lingbo fairy, belongs to the genus Narcissus of garlic family. Different from many flowers, it has the characteristics of growing in autumn, flowering in winter and dormancy in summer. How to raise daffodils after blooming? Then you need to know how daffodils breed. Let's talk about the breeding methods of daffodils.

I. Culture methods of daffodils

1. Shallow pot soil culture: peel off the brown scales outside the bulb and cut the cross longitudinally and horizontally at the top with a knife to facilitate the extraction of buds inside the bulb. After soaking in water for 2 days, wash off the mucus and put it in a shallow basin, surround the bulb with clean sand, bury it and compact it, put it in a greenhouse of 8 mi 12 degrees, give sufficient light, and the leaves will be extracted from the bulb one after another. When there are five leaves, the flower will appear. As long as the temperature, water and light conditions are suitable, the daffodil leaves will be short and stout, the flowers will be higher than the top leaves, the flowers will be large and the florescence will be long.

2. Hydroponics: every year, between Frosts Descent and the Beginning of Winter, the bulbs are taken out of the room, washed, and then placed in a shallow basin where daffodils are raised. The water is 3 mi 4 cm deep, placed in the sunny part of the greenhouse, the water is changed every day, and the bulbs are washed. Ten days later, it began to take root and sprout. After another 20 days, the flower can be drawn, and half a month later, when New Year's Day, it will blossom one after another, fragrance is lovely, is a very good decorative flower.

Second, how to reproduce daffodils

The main results are as follows: 1. Narcissus is most commonly used for lateral ball propagation. The lateral ball is born on both sides outside the bulb, and only the base is connected to the mother ball, so it is easy to break away from the mother body. It is separated from the mother ball in autumn and planted separately, and a new ball is produced the following year.

2. Lateral bud propagation. Lateral buds are buds wrapped inside bulbs. Only during bulb castration do they break away from the mother with the dug-out scales, pick out white buds, sow them on the seedbed in autumn, and produce new balls the following year.

3. The bulb disk with two scales can also be used as propagation material, which is called double-scale propagation. Method of reproduction: first put the bulb in 4mur10 ℃ and store it at low temperature for 8 weeks, then cut the bulb disc small at room temperature, so that each piece has 2 scales, and cut off the upper end of the scale and leave 2 cm as propagation material, then use a plastic bag to hold sand and gravel containing 50% water, put the reproduction material in a bag, close the bag mouth, and place the dark place at 20 ℃ for 2-3 months to grow bulbs. This method can be carried out in four seasons, but it is better from April to September. The ball-forming rate is 80 per cent, and the survival rate of the generated bulbs after transplanting can reach 80 per cent.

Third, the function of daffodils

The catechu essence in Narcissus tea has the effect of neutralizing the radioactive element strontium buckle to reduce atomic radiation damage. it can combat the current urban radiation pollution, so it is known as "the beverage of the atomic age".

Tea is rich in catechu essence, especially green tea, which has high vitamin P activity, which can enhance the body's ability to accumulate vitamins, reduce the accumulation of fat in blood and liver, and maintain the normal resistance of capillaries. Therefore, regular tea drinking is beneficial to the prevention and treatment of hypertension, arteriosclerosis and coronary heart disease.

Vitamin C in tea is beneficial to reduce blood cholesterol, enhance vascular toughness and elasticity, and French and Japanese medical studies have confirmed that drinking tea does have cholesterol-lowering and weight-loss effects.

The above is today to provide you with a little knowledge about daffodil culture methods and matters needing attention, and you are preparing to culture daffodils with relevant reference. I hope it will be helpful to you.
