Succulent plants are a new kind of ornamental plants cultivated in indoor pots in recent years. Most of them have simple, cute, short and fat plants, which are suitable for prevention and control in places such as desks, desks, televisions and computers. They can not only prevent radiation but also maintain eyesight. And Daiwa Jin is also a member of this big family, which also has these effects and functions.

Morphological characteristics of Dahejin

Dahejin is a succulent plant of the genus Euphorbiaceae, with succulent leaves arranged in a tight rosette. Leaf blade broadly ovate to scattered triangular ovate, leaf length 3 to 4 cm, width about 3 cm, apex acute. The leaves are gray and green. Using leaf cuttings, you can see the whole process of a leaf budding and growing into a plant, which is very interesting. Dahejin has triangular leaves like keels, with beautiful reddish-brown markings. Under sunny conditions, the leaves are compact and thick. The red pattern is also more obvious. The triangular thick leaves are stacked like petals, the dark green leaves have purple-brown spots, and another brocade variety is called "Dahe Ji", which is more beautiful.

Culture and nursing methods of Dahejin

Habits: Dahe Jinxi warm, well-ventilated environment, suitable for cultivation with fertile and well-drained sandy soil, growth period requires a certain amount of air humidity, controlled watering in winter, ability to withstand 5 ℃ low temperature.

Selection of pots: the cultivated flowerpots do not need to be too large, equal to or slightly smaller than the crown of the plant.

Planting: break off the leaves of Dahejin, place them horizontally or obliquely in coarse sand or vermiculite after 1-2 days, and let the wound come into contact with the soil; then put them in a semi-shaded place to keep the soil slightly moist, and small buds will grow in the wound after 15-20 days: with the passage of time, the buds grow bigger and bigger, and gradually form small rosette foliage: when the plant grows to a certain size, it will be taken out and planted in a small pot to become a new plant.

Lighting: generally speaking, the larger the light, the more it can reflect its color and shape. Except for proper shading in summer, it must be sunny and not shaded at other times. In summer, it is best to keep it in a well-ventilated place without direct sunlight. Maintain in the sunny place indoors in winter.

Moisture: Dahejin can withstand continuous dry seasons and droughts, but if it receives enough moisture in its growing season, they can also grow stronger. It is also well watered in winter.

Temperature: Dahejin can withstand frost, but it is best to spend the winter at a temperature of 5-10.

Fertilization: fertilization is also to avoid thick fertilizer and raw fertilizer, thin fertilizer should be applied frequently. It is best to apply mature and thin liquid fertilizer once a month. You need to stop fertilizing when it's hot in summer.
