Aloha is a common large-scale potted ornamental plant, growing very vigorously, arranged in the home has a tropical atmosphere feeling, what are the breeding methods of Aloha, below we go to understand:

The breeding method of sea taro:

The breeding method of sea taro: 1. Sowing method

Wild or field calla often bear seeds, can be used open field drilling or seeding, transplanting after emergence.

The propagation method of sea taro: 2. The insertion method

The stem of calla is very developed. The plants that have grown for many years can be cut as cuttings in spring, about 10 cm, directly planted in pots or cuttings on cuttings, and transplanted to the field after growing to 3-4 true leaves.

The propagation method of sea taro: 3. The method of dividing plants

During the growing season, the base of calla often produces many seedlings, which can be dug up and planted as new plants when they grow up slightly (3-4 true leaves).

The propagation method of sea taro: 4. Bulb method

Digging out and grading the naturally divided balls at the root of sea taro, generally divided into two grades: grade 1 for more than 2 grams and grade 2 for less than 2 grams. Before sowing, the land will be tilled and levelled to make a bed 1 meter wide and 20-30 meters long for sowing. Sowing density: row spacing of grade 1 seeds is 20 cm and plant spacing is 8 cm; row spacing of grade 2 seeds can be appropriately reduced. When sowing, it is necessary to conduct directional sowing in furrows on the prepared ridge surface. Sowing depth is 4-5 cm, then cover soil and water. After watering, herbicides should be sprayed in time. Generally, 33% herbicide EC 100-150 ml per mu, 60-75 kg of water, evenly sprayed on the surface of the plot with a sprayer. Finally, shade with sunshade net, open in the morning and evening, cover during the day. Remove the sunshade net immediately after emergence.

The propagation method of sea taro: 5. Tissue culture method

Callus can be induced from leaves, petioles, roots and inflorescences, and adventitious buds can be induced to propagate rapidly. The leaves and petioles were cut off, sterilized with 0.1% mercury solution for 10 minutes, washed several times with sterile water, cut into small pieces of 1-2 cm2, and inoculated on agar medium containing N6+1 mg/L, 2,4-D and sucrose 4%. The temperature of culture room was 28±2℃. After 20 days, spherical healing tissue appeared on the incision of explants. After 2 months, the callus grew up. At this time, it was best to transfer the callus to agar medium containing N6+ NAA 0.2 mg/L + cytohormone 0.5 mg/L for bud differentiation. Seedlings could be differentiated on hormone-free medium. 0.6-0.8 After 2 months of culture, 10 plantlets could be differentiated from callus of cm, and more than 30 plantlets could be differentiated after 3 months.

The leaves of taro are big and green. It can easily create a tropical rainforest flavor environment in the home. The breeding method of taro is introduced to everyone here. I hope it will help everyone.
