1. Cleaning up rotten roots

Plant the rotten roots from the flowerpot, gently peel off the soil, then rinse the roots with water and clean the rotting roots with scissors.

2. Disinfection of roots

Soak the cleaned roots in 0.1% potassium permanganate solution for 5 minutes, then apply a little sulfur powder or plant ash or carbendazim, and then dry in a cool place (about 2 days).

3. Replant

After drying, the orchid can be planted in the sandy soil to promote the germination of new roots. if the root system is not rotten seriously, it can be directly on the pot without planting in the sandy soil. after planting, it should be controlled to water, not dry and watered, so as not to rot the roots again. just put it in a cool and ventilated place, and if the leaves don't wilt after 30 days, they will survive.

The situation of rotten roots of gentleman orchids is different, some are slightly rotten, some are all rotten clean (as shown below), if all the roots are rotten, there is also a chance to save them, with reference to the cleaning and disinfection of rotten roots, insert into plain sand to promote sprouting, generally speaking, it can be re-rooted after about 2 months.

What about the rotten roots of a gentleman's orchid? The rotten root of the gentleman orchid shows that the breeding method is wrong, we should take a good look at the correct breeding method of the gentleman orchid, see which breeding method is wrong, and then solve it pertinently, so that the rotting root problem of the gentleman orchid can return to normal.
