Aloe is not only edible, but also cosmetic, so many friends, especially female friends, will plant a pot of aloe at home for a rainy day. But how to grow aloe? How do you plant aloe when cut off? Based on this, this paper briefly introduces the transplantation method of aloe.

Aloe, also known as dragon horn, dragon claw chrysanthemum and so on, is a perennial fleshy herb flower. Aloe not only has ornamental value, but also can be used as medicine, and it is also a multi-functional plant integrating food, beauty and health care. Modern research believes that aloe is a treasure house of vitamins, amino acids and minerals, which can supplement these substances needed by the human body. And traditional Chinese medicine also believes that aloe can comprehensively regulate human immunity. Therefore, in recent years, aloe has gradually become the protagonist of family flowers.

There are two propagation techniques of aloe.

First, sowing ears

The branch from the stem or main stem is mainly derived from the branch with 4-6 leaves and 6-10 cm high. The top of the main stem can also be cut off 10-15 cm for cuttings. Cuttings can not be inserted immediately after cutting, otherwise it is easy to rot from the incision. it is usually placed for 3-5 days after cutting, and then planted after the incision is fully dried. There is a certain relationship between the size of cuttings and rooting, generally with 6-10 cm branches, short rooting time, high survival rate and easy management.

Second, slotting machine

The bed can be inserted in greenhouse breeding pond, plastic greenhouse flat bed, open field flat bed, sunny bed or flowerpot. The humus soil (vegetable garden and other fertile soil) is selected as the substrate, which is loose and breathable and has good drainage.

Third, the insertion method and time

Before inserting, pour a small amount of water on the substrate (that is, the sand of the bed), insert a small hole with a bamboo pole, and then insert the aloe cuttings and compact them. The best time for planting is from April to May in spring, which can be carried out all the year round in the greenhouse.

The management temperature after insertion is above 20 ℃, which can take root in about 30 days. When the temperature is lower than 20 ℃, it is slow to take root, but it is not easy to take root if the temperature is too low. Water management is particularly important after planting to before rooting. Do not water immediately after insertion. After 2-3 days, only spray a small amount of water to the leaf surface. When the plug-in machine is obviously short of water and drought, water it properly. If too much watering, stagnant water occurs, cuttings are easy to rot. In case of continuous rain or heavy rain after insertion, the bed should be covered with rain-proof plastic shed to prevent rain. After rooting, the cuttings were properly irrigated with liquid fertilizer to cultivate strong seedlings.

From the method of breeding aloe, we can see that aloe can be planted when cut, but the cutting method should be appropriate. The breeding season should be right, and the soil used should be suitable.
