How can aloe be planted without roots? Perhaps many friends have had the experience that aloe vera doesn't take root, which may have something to do with the wrong method. In fact, aloe is quite crude, and there are few unsuccessful transplants. Therefore, this paper intends to introduce how to grow rootless aloe.

Cuttings, is a way of transplanting aloe, it is from the aloe mother cut out new buds to plant in pots. In this way of transplantation, the aloe used for transplantation is rootless. In order to make aloe take root as soon as possible, you need to take root step by step.

1. Cuttings

The branch from the stem or main stem is mainly derived from the branch with 4-6 leaves and 6-10 cm high. The top of the main stem can also be cut off 10-15 cm for cuttings.

Cuttings can not be inserted immediately after cutting, otherwise it is easy to rot from the incision. it is usually placed for 3-5 days after cutting, and then planted after the incision is fully dried. There is a certain relationship between the size of cuttings and rooting, generally with 6-10 cm branches, short rooting time, high survival rate and easy management.

2. Ramet

The seedlings germinated from the mother plant were separated from the mother plant with ramet cutters, but the seedlings were still left in place, so that they could grow for a period of time (usually about half a month), form an independent root system, and reach a state of complete autotrophy. then the seedlings were transplanted with soil, planted in the field and watered in time. If the aloe seedlings are cut off by color and transplant with soil, there is basically no "slow seedling stage". Aloe seedlings grow fast and can be carried out at any time in spring, summer and autumn, but it takes a lot of work.

3. Season

When the temperature is above 20 ℃, it can take root in about 30 days. When the temperature is lower than 20 ℃, it is slow to take root, but it is not easy to take root if the temperature is too low. Water management is particularly important after planting to before rooting. Do not water immediately after insertion. After 2-3 days, only spray a small amount of water to the leaf surface. When the plug-in machine is obviously short of water and drought, water it properly. If too much watering, stagnant water occurs, cuttings are easy to rot. In case of continuous rain or heavy rain after insertion, the bed should be covered with rain-proof plastic shed to prevent rain. After rooting, the cuttings were properly irrigated with liquid fertilizer to cultivate strong seedlings.

It can be seen that the rootless aloe is quickly important and survives, which is closely related to the operation method of selecting seedlings, cuttings or ramets, as well as the season, humidity and temperature of transplantation.
