People all know that environmental pollution can not be cured in a short time, but can only be solved by every means. In order to make the indoor air better, some people will raise orchids at home, which can absorb carbon dioxide and so on. But I didn't expect that the rotten leaves of Cymbidium affected its appearance.

The reason for the rotten leaves of the magnolia:

If the fertilizer and water is too big and thick, the leaves are not well kept clean, or are infected by mold will lead to rotten leaves. The leaves began to rot from the base, heart, or outside of the leaves, and all the leaves rotted away in five or six days when they were severe. It is necessary to timely control water and apply fertilizer properly to make the basin soil moist up and down. After finding the rotten leaves, cut off the rotten leaves immediately, then sprinkle them with oxytetracycline powder around the rotten leaves, thoroughly disinfect them and put them in a ventilated and transparent place.

Cymbidium is a fleshy root with weak water absorption capacity, thick leaves and high water content. if the basin soil is too wet or too dry for a long time, it will cause water reversal and leaf tip blackening and decay, so it is appropriate to keep the basin soil dry. What is more important is that whether small, medium or large plants, pouring water on the leaves in the center, or often in the rain, or dripping into the center, will make the new leaves in the center rot, and in serious cases, they will rot, so don't water the orchids on the leaves, especially avoid pouring them into the center leaves.

The prevention and control methods of rotten leaves of Cymbidium:

When ① waters the orchid, it should be poured on the basin soil along the four walls of the basin, not on the leaves, especially on the central leaves.

② avoids rain and prevents leaves from rotting.

③ do not water too much, basin soil is often too wet, will also cause rotten roots and leaves.

The rotten leaves of Cymbidium can be solved by methods, but if you do not want to solve the rotten leaves of Cymbidium, it is best to use the method of breeding at the very beginning, such as regular watering, fertilization, and so on, so that Cymbidium can be raised better and there are no problems.
