Steps of potted daisies

Stage 1: raising seedlings with acupoint tray

It begins to germinate when bacon penetrates its seed coat, and the first stage is from young roots to cotyledons. The temperature should be kept at 18 ℃. Keep the cultivation medium wet and the seeds like the sun warm, so there is no need to cover the soil, but to avoid direct sunlight, remember not to let the medium dry. At this stage, the pH value is maintained between 5.5 and 6.2, and the relative humidity is 100%. After sowing in the pot, it should be shaded properly.

Stage 2: cotyledon emergence and growth

The cotyledons gradually grow into real leaves and enter the second stage. Still keep the room temperature at 18 ℃. The humidity of the medium is kept between 70% and 80%. Of course, it should not be too dry. The growth of cotyledons requires the root system to penetrate the medium to absorb nutrients. The first two stages take a total of 2-3 weeks.

Emergence and growth of cotyledons

Stage 3: growth and development of true leaves

The third stage is from the growth of true leaves to 80% of the seedlings. The room temperature can be reduced to about 15 ℃. As the temperature decreases, the humidity decreases, and the interval between two watering times can be longer, dry and re-irrigated, thus forming a dry-wet cycle, which is conducive to the growth and development of roots.

Refining seedlings of daisies

Stage 4: refining seedlings

At this stage, the root system has been formed intact, and the seedlings become cold-tolerant by refining seedlings, which lasts for about a week. The temperature, humidity and fertilization are basically the same as the previous stage. It needs to be transplanted into the pot in time. The last two stages will take about 1-2 weeks to complete.

Points for attention of potted daisies

1. A cool pot environment can make the plant compact.

(2) the high humidity of potted plants in winter causes the leaves to become moist, which leads to Botrytis cinerea. The humidity of potted plants should be kept appropriate.

3. Daisies are clustered with basal leaves, so they need to be ventilated to prevent base decay.
