The appearance of dripping Guanyin is quite similar to that of dripping Guanyin. Therefore, many families will hydroponically cultivate dripping Guanyin and put it indoors. So, how does Dishui Guanyin change from soil cultivation to hydroponic culture? Based on this topic, this paper briefly introduces the related skills of water culture dripping Guanyin transplantation.

Dishui Guanyin, also known as Stellera chamaejasme (underground stem), Taro, Guanyinlian and so on, is one of the favorite indoor hydroponic plants. There are three main propagation methods of Dishui Guanyin: sowing, cutting and ramet. This paper only talks about the method of changing dripping Guanyin from soil to hydroponic culture.

When dripping Guanyin soil cultivation is changed to hydroponic culture, first carefully remove the basin, and then gently remove the soil; then find a basin and soak the dripping Guanyin root in it, so that the soil can be treated more easily, and be careful not to hurt the root in the process of treatment. at the same time, rotten roots and aging roots should be cut off. If there is a wound in the rhizome, it should be hung in a shaded place for 1-3 days, and then immersed in water after the wound is dry. New roots can be seen 2-3 days later.

1. Plant selection: when dripping Guanyin in water culture, the height of 30~40cm dripping down the tip or edge of the leaf, gently pull the selected dripping Guanyin from the soil and try not to damage the tuber and root system.

2. Water temperature: the water temperature is controlled between 5 ℃ and 30 ℃, in which dripping Guanyin can grow normally.

3. Change water: in the initial stage of hydroponic culture, the water should be changed every 2 to 3 days, and the suitable water depth is 2 beat 3, which submerged the root system. After 1 week, new roots can grow. After 3 weeks, Guanyin can adapt to the hydroponic culture environment, and then change to nutrient solution culture. After that, the water can be changed once in 7 days in summer and 10-15 days in winter, and several drops of special nutrient solution for flowers and plants can be added (the concentration of the nutrient solution can be prepared according to the instructions).

4. Illumination: the light of hydroponic dripping Guanyin is mainly scattered light, 3-5 hours a day, and direct sunlight should be avoided as far as possible in summer.

5, utensils: water culture dripping Guanyin utensils are easy to grow moss, affect the ornamental roots, but also consume oxygen in the water. When changing water, you should first wash away the mucus from the flower roots with clean water, cut off the old roots and rotten roots, and wash the moss on the utensils and roots.

6. moisturizing: in order to prevent the occurrence of leaf dryness, spraying foliar moisturizing with clear water during daily nursing, preferably spraying foliar fertilizer once a week, can not only provide nutrition for leaves, increase foliar luster, but also achieve the purpose of resisting low temperature in winter.

7. Points for attention

First, the selected plant should not be higher than 40cm, because the plant is too large for hydroponic culture and survival.

Second, due to dripping Guanyin stem tissue is relatively loose, such as poor water quality is easy to be polluted, resulting in rotten roots and stems rot. Therefore, to keep the water clean, it should also be combined with water exchange to clean the mucus on the tubers and roots, and cut off the rotten roots.

Third, do not direct sunlight, it is best to maintain under astigmatism, direct exposure will burn leaves, hydroponic plants are not suitable for direct sunlight, otherwise the root system will give birth to green algae.

Fourth, do not apply fertilizer easily, fertilization must be controlled, and fertilization should be stopped in winter.

Water training dripping Guanyin pays attention to two aspects: one is the cleanliness of the roots, and the other is the cleanliness of the water used. This is not only related to the success of soil culture, but also related to the quality of hydroponics.
