Gardenia is a familiar but unfamiliar flower. It is said to be familiar because gardenia is often heard in life, and strange because people seldom see gardenia flowers. When some people plant gardenia, they find that the leaves of gardenia are dry and don't know what to do.

Water properly. Gardenia should keep the soil moist during the 4-September growth period. The basin soil is watered as soon as it is dry, and you can use a spray can to sprinkle and fertilize the foliage at night. If the growth is too prosperous and the internodes are longer, they do not need to be watered in the evening, and then watered when the sun comes out in the morning.

Scientific fertilization. Gardenia likes to be fat. The addition of 3% decay heat to the culture soil is not used as base fertilizer. In the growing season, the alum fertilizer made by cake fertilizer and ferrous sulfate retting is watered once a week, or 0.1% humic acid total nutrient organic liquid fertilizer can be used. Watering 0.1% potassium dihydrogen phosphate aqueous solution once or twice at budding stage can make the flowers fat and fragrant. Stop fertilizing when the hot temperature is above 35 degrees Celsius and below 15 degrees Celsius in autumn.

You should bask in the sun. Gardenia likes light and can grow in semi-shade for a long time, but the flower branches are longer and the flowers are less. Strong light at noon in August should be shaded.

Remember to keep a reasonable sunshade in summer and properly supplement cake fertilizer and ferrous sulfate!

Gardenia leaves dry and more watering, and pay more attention to the management in daily life, in order to ensure that gardenia leaves return to fresh and tender, and then in the flowering period to produce fragrant, brilliant, beautiful flowers. If its leaves wither, it will directly affect its flowering and fruiting.
