On the morning of February 27, at the 204th meeting of the Environmental Assessment Review Committee of the Taipei City Government, the Environmental impact Assessment report of the Shezi Island Development Plan was reviewed. The Shezi Island self-Rescue Association held up a cloth at the gate of the city government to criticize the Taipei city government: "Hsiao Lin exterminating the village is a man-made disaster." Shezi Island exterminating the village is a scourge. The self-help Society asked the Taipei City Government to "re-conduct household visits", "explain the resettlement plan, address residents' concerns", "include EIA in social and cultural impact assessment", and "communicate with residents with equal dignity".

At present, the youth of the Shezi Island self-help Association have launched a study trip to Shezi Island by leading the public to visit Shezi Island to understand that Shezi Island has formed a unique local culture since its establishment for half a century. Photo by Lin Jiyang)
