The market demand rate is very high and it has been planted in many big cities. So how do you plant it with seeds?
Growth habits:
Buttercup, like cool, and semi-shady environment, avoid hot, suitable growth temperature is about 20 ℃ during the day, 7: 10 ℃ at night, both afraid of wet and drought, should be planted in neutral or alkaline soil with good drainage, fertile and loose. The root tuber entered the dormant period after 6 months. Buttercup, like mild climate, fresh and moist air, shady growth environment, not resistant to cold freezing, more afraid of the hot sun. In most parts of China, it goes into dormancy in summer. Potted plants require sandy culture soil rich in humus, loose and fertile, and strong permeability.
Germination time and temperature:
Buttercup can be sown in autumn. It is generally chosen in September, and August can be chosen in areas with lower temperatures in the north.
Buttercup seeds should not sprout in a climate higher than 20 ℃, so they can generally be sown in late autumn.
The optimum budding temperature of its seeds is 5 ℃ ~ 15 ℃. When sowing, attention should be paid to the adjustment of temperature to give the seeds a good budding temperature.
Treatment of seeds:
The germination rate of the germinated seeds was much higher than that of the ungerminated seeds. Therefore, before sowing, it is best to accelerate the germination of the seeds to improve the budding ability of the seeds.
Specifically, the germination treatment is to dry the seeds, evaporate the water, and then treat them in an airtight and low temperature environment for a period of time. The so-called low temperature refers to-1 ℃ ~ 5 ℃, not too low, otherwise the seeds will be frostbitten.
The way it is planted:
Choose a medium-sized flowerpot and sprinkle a layer of small stones on the bottom of the pot to increase the moisturizing capacity of the cultivated soil.
Pour the prepared soil into the flowerpot and slowly flatten it with a shovel.
Then sow the germinated seeds on the soil surface, paying attention to sowing evenly and keeping the seed spacing moderate.
Cover the seeds with a thin layer of cultivated soil. At this time, we should pay attention to the thickness of the culture soil should not be too thick, otherwise it will only increase the difficulty of breaking the soil and affect the normal germination of seeds.
Finally, we also need to pour some water into the flowerpot to ensure the wetness of the culture soil and give the seeds a suitable budding environment.
