Black tiger is a new type of fruit that has become popular in recent years. Although the planting area in our country is small, it has a certain market demand. At present, China's black tiger market is still in short supply, so more and more people begin to plant black tigers. So how do we breed when we plant black tigers? The following editor has brought you the breeding method of the black tiger, let's have a look!

1. Seed reproduction

Seed reproduction refers to sowing reproduction, the seedling root ability of sowing reproduction is strong, the growth speed is fast, but the possibility of variation is also large, can not guarantee the quality. After harvesting, the seeds are stored in wet sand to prevent water evaporation and reduce the germination rate. Then sow in spring, apply sufficient base fertilizer on the soil before sowing, do border shaping, and control the plant row distance to dig holes and sow seeds. Put about two seeds in each sowing hole, cover the fine soil after sowing, and then cover the plastic film to improve the soil moisture conservation capacity. After emergence, it is necessary to remove the plastic film in time, grow three true leaves after a seedling, five true leaves fixed seedlings. Do the work of weeding by ploughing and topdressing once a month or so.

2. Cuttage propagation

Cut off the sturdy, disease-and pest-free branches every spring and cut them into cuttings of about 12 centimeters, with about four bud holes on each cuttage and a leaf at the top to cut off the extra leaves. Then cut off the oblique, the larger the wound area, the greater the rooting rate. The incision should be smooth, and then soak the incision with rooting agent for about half an hour to improve the rooting rate. The soil preparation work of the seedling bed is the same as the seed propagation, the cuttings are obliquely inserted into the seedling bed, the lateral buds are wet, and then the soil is compacted and watered enough to improve the contact area between the cuttings and the soil. To do a good job of weeding during rooting, it is necessary to apply fertilizer properly after rooting, mainly with more and a small amount, so as to prevent the death of cuttings caused by excessive dosage.

3. Grafting propagation

Grafting is the most commonly used breeding method for black tigers, and there are many grafting methods. Among them, take bud grafting as an example, cut a cut of about 3 cm at a place where the rootstock is about 8 cm from the ground, and then cut the outer skin of the incision in general. Cut the bud from bottom to top, and the length is controlled at about 2.5 cm. Then insert the leaf into the incision, tie it tightly and clip it with a grafting clip to expose the leaf bud. About a week or so, the bud is fresh and the petiole is loose, which means that it has survived. If there is no survival, then timely repair, 2-3 weeks after the removal of some leaves and vines to promote the growth of buds.

The above is a brief introduction to how black tigers breed. Various breeding methods have different advantages and disadvantages. The survival rate of cutting propagation is high, but the root ability is weak and the growth is poor, so it is necessary to plant closely. Although grafting propagation integrates the advantages of seedlings and cuttings, it is more troublesome to operate. Therefore, we should choose reasonable breeding methods according to their own breeding techniques and planting direction.
