How many ways to apply fertilizer and how to divide it? I believe many flower growers do not know that many people use fat casually and do not have any concept. Today, let's take a look at home flower cultivation, three common fertilizers.

Base fertilizer

Generally, when sowing, potting or changing pots, a certain proportion of organic fertilizer is mixed into the cultured soil in order to increase soil nutrients and supply the needs of long-term growth of flowers. I usually call this kind of fertilizer organic fertilizer, and it doesn't matter whether it's growing flowers or growing crops.

When changing or adding pots to flowers, the soil we use is called base fertilizer, which means the most basic fertilizer. In fact, it is also very important, not at will.

Topdressing

Potted flowers due to the lack of cultivation soil, limited fertilizer, base fertilizer often can not meet the needs of flower growth, according to the needs of each stage of flower growth, timely supplement fertilizer, that is, topdressing. Topdressing often uses quick-acting fertilizers, such as chemical fertilizers, fermented organic manure leachate and so on. Some people like to sprinkle granular fertilizer directly on the surface of potted flowers, which is very undesirable and easy to cause harm. I hope you will remember that granular fertilizer is best buried in the soil and away from the roots.

Extra-root topdressing

Extra-root topdressing, also known as foliar fertilization, is a method of spraying low concentration solutions of water-soluble fertilizers or biological substances on the leaves of growing crops. Lazy flowerpots are completely wrong because they don't need to be watered. Regular foliar spray will work better.

This method can supplement the deficiency of nutrients absorbed by flower roots in time. Extra-root topdressing should be carried out every morning or evening so that the foliage can absorb fertilizer. Do not use it at noon in summer. And foliar spray, the choice of spray can atomization effect is better.

A good spray can can be broken and has a good effect of atomization. Whether it is adding moisture or killing insects in summer, it is a good helper in gardening. In winter, flower friends in the north remember to properly increase the humidity of green plants to avoid their yellowing.
