Huaimihui Agriculture: planting techniques of Sophora pseudoacacia
Generally speaking, Robinia pseudoacacia can be planted by sowing, cutting and grafting. Robinia pseudoacacia likes sunshine, can withstand cold, slightly endure shade, and is not tolerant to drought and dampness. In addition, Robinia pseudoacacia will grow poorly in low-lying water. Therefore, the planting conditions of Robinia pseudoacacia should ensure sufficient sunshine and maintain appropriate humidity. In addition, although Robinia pseudoacacia does not have high requirements for soil, it grows better in fertile, well-drained, deep, sandy soil. The neutral sandy loam with fertile soil and convenient drainage and irrigation was selected as the nursery. When preparing the soil, it is necessary to apply sufficient base fertilizer, generally 50 kg of farm fertilizer, phosphate fertilizer and cake fertilizer per mu of land, and treat the soil with 30% carbofuran 0.75-1.25 kg. After ploughing and raking, the flat bed is made into a flat bed 1 meter wide.
1. Spring sowing
Because the seed coat has a palisade layer with close combination of cells and poor water permeability, before sowing, put the seeds in 80 ℃ warm water and stir them until the water temperature drops to 40 ℃. Then remove the impurities and continue to soak for 2-3 days. When soaking, you should pay attention to changing 30 ℃ of warm water twice a day. The remaining hard grains were treated for 1 or 2 times. The seed absorbs water and expands and can be sown. The row spacing of strip sowing is 2025cm, the thickness of covering soil is 1.52cm, the sowing amount per mu is 810kg / mu, and the seedlings are unearthed in 710days. The seedlings are reasonably close planted in the seedling stage to prevent the trunk from bending. Generally, 6 seedlings are kept per meter in length, and the annual seedlings are more than 1 meter high.
2. Cutting method
Cut off about 15 cm of new branches and soak them in preservative water and absorb enough water before cutting; the grafting of Robinia pseudoacacia can choose two-year-old common locust trees as rootstocks, cut off locust branches before Qingming Festival for abdominal grafting, and can also breed rootstock seedlings in greenhouse.
3. Seedling stage management
After the seedlings of Robinia pseudoacacia were transplanted and survived, the seedlings should be ploughed and weeded in time, the soil should be loosened to preserve soil moisture, and watering should be carried out if necessary. 15 kg urea per mu was applied, and the seedlings could be as high as 2.5 meters in the same year. The growth of two-year-old and three-year-old seedlings should be accelerated. 50kg cake fertilizer should be applied per mu in spring, urea should be applied 2 or 3 times in summer, and 10kg per mu should be applied each time. In addition, it is necessary to strengthen the prevention and control of seedling diseases and insect pests to ensure the healthy growth of seedlings.
