Suitable temperature for the growth of common vegetables in greenhouse

tomato

The optimum temperature for fertility is 13-28 ℃.

The lowest temperature of seed germination is 10 ℃, the highest is 35 ℃, and the most suitable is 28-32 ℃.

Flowering is best at 25 ℃ during the day and 17 ℃ at night.

During the result period, 25-28 ℃ during the day and 16-20 ℃ at night

The optimum temperature for tomato root growth is 20: 22 ℃, the lowest ground temperature is 8 ℃, and the highest is 32 ℃.

Problems caused by inappropriate temperature:

When the temperature was below 15 ℃, the growth was slow, and it could not blossom or pollinate poorly. The growth of stems and leaves stopped at 5 ℃, and began to freeze to death below 1 ℃.

Tomato is not resistant to heat, more than 35 ℃ affects flowering and fruiting; 40 ℃ stops growth; 42 ℃, seedlings may be burned when the air humidity is less than 50%.

The lowest temperature in seedling stage should not be lower than 13 ℃ or higher than 33 ℃, otherwise it will affect flower bud differentiation.

19-24 ℃ was beneficial to the formation of lycopene, while less than 15 ℃ or more than 30 ℃ was not conducive to lycopene formation.

The transplanting time of tomato in early spring should be that the ground temperature is stable above 8 ℃.

Chili pepper

The optimum temperature for seed germination is 15-30 ℃, and the most suitable temperature is 25 ℃.

The suitable temperature for fruit development and color conversion is 20-30 ℃.

The planting of hot pepper can only be carried out after 10 ℃ of stable ground temperature.

Problems caused by inappropriate temperature:

Above 30 ℃, the flower organ was hypoplastic or the stigma was dry and could not be fertilized.

The lowest temperature at flowering stage is 10 ℃, otherwise it can not be fertilized.

Eggplant

The suitable temperature for growth is about 25 ℃, the growth and development is slow when it is below 20 ℃, and almost stops when it is below 15 ℃.

It is best when the temperature is close to 25 ℃ during the day and at night.

Flowering is best at 25 ℃ during the day and 17 ℃ at night.

The most suitable for seed germination is 28-30 ℃.

The lowest temperature in seedling stage should not be lower than 15 ℃ and not higher than 33 ℃, otherwise it would affect flower bud differentiation.

Problems caused by inappropriate temperature:

Some studies have shown that when the night temperature is 17 ℃, the higher the daytime temperature is, the shorter the flowering time is, but the less healthy flowers are.

When the daytime temperature is 25 ℃, the higher the night temperature is, the shorter the flowering time is and the less healthy flowers are.

Cucumber

The optimum temperature for fertility is 18-30 ℃, and the most suitable temperature is 24 ℃.

Cucumber growth period requires a certain temperature difference between day and night, generally 25-30 ℃ during the day, 18-20 ℃ in the first half of the night, 12-15 ℃ in the second half of the night, and the best temperature difference between day and night is about 10 ℃.

Low temperature at night is beneficial to reduce plant respiration consumption.

The lowest temperature of seed germination is 12.7 ℃, the highest is 38 ℃, and the most suitable is 28-32 ℃.

The lowest temperature in seedling stage should not be lower than 13 ℃ or higher than 33 ℃.

The optimum soil temperature for root growth is 20-22 ℃, the lowest soil temperature is 12 ℃, and the highest is 38 ℃.

Problems caused by inappropriate temperature:

The seed germination developed slowly under 18 ℃, and the germination rate decreased above 35 ℃.

The highest temperature was 45 ℃ and died. When the temperature was higher than 32 ℃, the respiratory volume increased, the growth and development was stunted above 35 ℃, and the flower fell and fruit turned into fruit more than 40 ℃.

The highest root system began to rot at 38 ℃, and the respiratory consumption of the root system increased over 32 ℃.

The transplanting time of cucumber in early spring should be that the ground temperature stably reached more than 12 ℃.

Cowpea

The suitable temperature range for the whole growth period is 20-32 ℃.

The suitable temperature for seed germination is 25-35 ℃, the lowest is 10 ℃ and the highest is 38 ℃.

Problems caused by inappropriate temperature:

In the high temperature below 35 ℃, the stems and leaves still grow, but it is easy to drop flowers and fruits, and it is easy to age, and the edible quality of the products decreases.

Cowpea was afraid of low temperature, the growth was slow below 15 ℃, 10 ℃ was inhibited, 5 ℃ was frozen and 0 ℃ died.

Green beans

The suitable temperature for seed germination is 20-25 ℃.

The optimum temperature at flowering stage is 18-25 ℃.

The suitable temperature for seedling growth is 18-20 ℃.

Problems caused by inappropriate temperature:

Seeds below 8 ℃ and above 35 ℃ are not easy to germinate.

The seedlings stopped growing below 13 ℃.

When the flowering period is below 15 ℃ and above 28 ℃, it can not bear fruit, and a large number of flowers fall.

Sowing green beans requires a stable ground temperature of 10 ℃.

Celery

The suitable temperature for celery cultivation in greenhouse is 15-23 ℃ during the day, no more than 25 ℃, 10 ℃ at night, and no less than 5 ℃ at night.

The temperature in overcast, rain, snow and wind days should be lower, but not too low, so as to prevent frost injury and early bolting.

Proper ventilation according to humidity can reduce air humidity, reduce diseases, assimilate use, reduce respiratory consumption, and enrich and enlarge petioles.
