The room decorated with lush flowers and plants is not only a good decoration, but also can improve the temperature, humidity and air quality of the local environment. But the soil in the flowerpot often gives off an unpleasant smell, especially after fertilization, and it can also breed bugs. In fact, it is better to raise some hydroponic plants in the room.

Because water plants have the following advantages: first, because water can evaporate freely, in the same environment. Compared with the plants cut and cultivated in the basin soil, the plants play a more obvious role in regulating the air humidity; second, the water-raised plants can omit the management of the basin soil, clean and hygienic, and the maintenance is simple. Such as the selection of some plants whose roots can be exposed to the sun, coupled with a suitable container, the whole plant can be ornamental, with higher ornamental value.

There are two kinds of hydroponic plants. One is aquatic flowers. They grow in water in nature, such as lotus and water lilies that we are familiar with; the other is hydroponic flowers, which generally grow in soil or culture media, such as daffodils and hyacinths. Because the indoor light is not enough, it is more suitable to cultivate the latter kind. In addition, they have low requirements for nutrients and can basically grow in tap water. There is no need to add nutrient solution.

The suitable species in the family are green pineapple, hyacinth, rich bamboo, hanging orchid, flower and leaf evergreen, heart leaf vine green velvet, fine leaf dry wood and so on. Containers with a certain volume for root expansion can be used to hold these plants, while glass containers with open bottles are more beneficial to maintaining water quality and root growth. When planting, the leaves should be avoided from soaking in water, so as not to cause decay; under suitable light conditions, they can quickly take root; when you find less water, add some water. To prevent the roots from drying; when the water becomes dirty, take out the plants. Clean the container and refill it.
