The purpose of pond disinfection
(1) kill the wild animals in the pond. Such as fish, shrimp, crabs, clams, snails, frog eggs, tadpoles, leeches, etc., to avoid competing with breeding for food, oxygen, space and spreading diseases in the coming year.
(2) eliminate pathogenic microorganisms. Such as bacteria, fungi, viruses, parasite eggs, etc., reduce the incidence of diseases in farmed animals.
(3) kill aquatic plants. Such as moss, algae, etc., especially filamentous algae such as moss, will consume a lot of nutrients in the pond water, making the pond water extremely thin, zooplankton can not reproduce in large numbers, and can entangle fish fry and shrimp and crabs.
Disinfection product recommendation
(1) quicklime. It is one of the drugs with the best disinfection effect in clearing ponds, which can kill wildlife, pathogenic microorganisms and aquatic plants, improve water quality, improve the soil quality of ponds, and directly play the role of fertilization. Choose quicklime for cleaning ponds, preferably the block ash that has just been transported back from the lime kiln and does not contain impurities before disinfection, and used immediately.
(2) bleach. After meeting water, the bleaching powder decomposes and releases hypochloric acid and alkaline calcium chloride, and hypochlorite immediately releases new ecological chlorine, which has the effect of strong sterilization and killing enemy organisms. Bleach for cleaning ponds is required to contain 28%-30% available chlorine.
(3) microbial preparation. It is recommended that you use 603 king of bacteriostatic and water purification-potassium persulfate compound salt.

1. Disinfection should be carried out in sunny days. The low temperature on cloudy and rainy days affects the efficacy of medicine, and it is generally disinfected when the water temperature is about 10 ℃. When the water temperature is 3 to 5 ℃, the dosage should be increased by 30% to 40%, and for ponds with thicker silt, the dosage should be increased by about 10%. 2. Pay attention to safety when operating. Bleach is highly corrosive, do not stain the skin and clothing. When sprinkling, be in the limelight and sprinkle with the downwind.
3. Detoxification is needed after disinfection. ① if drug selection and improper use during the last culture cycle lead to the deposition of drug toxins, especially the formation of drug residues in the sediment. ② accumulates and contains a certain amount of heavy metal ions in the soil of the old pond and bottom. 4. Don't discharge the water in the disinfection pool randomly. If the disinfection pool water has not been detoxified, or the detoxification is not fully discharged to other rivers, the drug concentration in the water area will seriously exceed the standard and pollute the water source environment. 5. Put an end to prohibited drugs. When some farmers clear the pond for disinfection, they often use illegal drugs intentionally or unintentionally (some market drugs contain prohibited drug ingredients), which leads to hidden dangers to the safety of aquatic products in the future.
