Vegetable planting time (four Seasons version)

The beginning of spring: shepherd's purse grows, shepherd's purse blossoms, daffodils bloom. The north can grow cold-tolerant vegetables in the fields: broad beans, peas, rape, asparagus, spicy root, shepherd's purse and so on. Cold-loving vegetables can be raised in a greenhouse. The south can grow fast-ripening cold-loving vegetables in the fields: spinach, lettuce, Chinese cabbage, Shanghai green, artemisia, cherry radish and so on. Heat-loving vegetables can be raised in a greenhouse.

Early spring: Willow sprouting, primrose blooming, elm blooming, spring thunder ringing, bees emerging, dandelion blooming, metasequoia sprouting, apricot blooming, rape blooming, black locust budding, hairy peach blooming. In the north, cold-loving vegetables can be grown in the fields: Chinese cabbage, white radishes, carrots, turnips, potatoes, spinach, cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, onions, lettuce, beet, mustard, kale, celery, Chinese cabbage, Shanghai green, coriander, leeks, onions, artemisia and so on. Heat-loving vegetables can be raised in a greenhouse. The south can grow fast-ripening cold-loving vegetables in the fields: spinach, lettuce, Chinese cabbage, Shanghai green, artemisia, cherry radish and so on.

Mid-spring: defrost, frogs begin to sing, peony blossoms, wisteria blossoms, azaleas bloom. You can grow heat-loving vegetables in the field: pumpkin, cucumber, gourd, balsam pear, towel gourd, soybean, corn, taro, sunflower, all kinds of beans, hollow vegetables, tomatoes, eggplant, green peppers, sweet potatoes, peanuts, watermelons, amaranth and so on.

Late spring: cuckoo birds first sing, Robinia pseudoacacia blossoms, wild roses, grape blossoms. Early rice transplant seedlings.

Summer: the grasshopper cicada begins to sing, the lotus blossoms, the privet blossoms, and the locust trees bloom. Grow sesame seeds.

Early autumn: cicadas sing at the end. Grow cold-loving vegetables: Chinese cabbage, white radish, carrot, radish, potato, spinach, cabbage, cauliflower, cauliflower, onion, lettuce, beet, mustard, kale, celery, Chinese cabbage, Shanghai green, coriander, leek, onion, artemisia and so on.
