When crayfish farmers raise crayfish in the natural environment, crayfish are not easily infected with bacteria, but in a culture environment with limited culture area, crayfish are easily infected with a pathogen called "rotten tail disease".

The main cause of crayfish infection is bacterial infection caused by crayfish cannibalism or other injuries. The initial symptoms of crayfish infection are blisters in the tail, festering, necrotic or incomplete at the edge of the crayfish body. With the deterioration of the disease, the festering site of the crayfish develops from the edge to the middle. When the crayfish is seriously infected, the whole tail of the crayfish will fester and fall.

The main method for crayfish to control this kind of bacteria is not to pile up and damage the crayfish when the crayfish is transported and released. During crayfish breeding, we should pay attention to adequate feed and balance, so as to prevent crayfish from killing each other because of competing for food. If the crayfish is infected with this germ, sprinkle it with quicklime 5kg / mu of dissolved water in the whole pool, and assist with other insecticides.
