Glass crabapple is a kind of herb that can blossom all the year round, the suitable temperature is 18-25 degrees, it is a kind of plant with great decoration color. So do you know how to grow glass crabapple potted plants?

First of all, choose the appropriate size of the flowerpot, the height of the flowerpot is about 15 cm, the diameter of the pot is more than 20 cm, and there are breathable holes at the bottom, which can easily remove excess water.

Then it is to configure the substrate, mix the peat soil or pastoral soil and fermented organic fertilizer into the flowerpot at 1:1, and then pour water thoroughly to control the excess.

When all this is ready, it is time to cut the glass begonia. First, cut the stem of the glass crabapple into segments of about 5 cm, leaving only the part with a diameter of more than 0.4 cm. Then soak the cut glass begonia stem in a solution containing 5% carbendazim for 5-10 minutes, then remove it and rinse it with clean water.

The next step is to insert the cut glass begonia section into the flowerpot with seedling substrate, keep the buried depth at 2-3 cm, and then cover it with a film to keep it moderate for two days, and then slowly uncover the film to adapt to the sun. About 15 days after cutting the glass crabapple took root.

Then it is to carry out maintenance, wait until the surface of the seedling substrate turns white, and then apply organic fertilizer once in 15 days or so, and loosen the topsoil once in 30 days to prevent soil consolidation. The glass crabapple cut for about a year can blossom.
