Last Updated: 2024/11/06, Each kind of fruit tree is different, even big trees and small trees are different. The targets of prevention and control are also different in different regions. The main common pathogens of apple trees are: deciduous disease.

Every fruit tree is different, even the trees are different. The targets of prevention and control are different in different areas. Apple trees are the main common pathogens are: defoliation disease (including: spots defoliation, brown spots, round spots, etc.), fruit damage anthracnose, mold heart disease and so on.

The weather, planting structure and management scheme vary from place to place. The details can be discussed together!

March: (Dormancy period, bud germination period)

Before germination, the whole garden is sprayed with insecticides and fungicides

Control objects: rot disease, ring disease, anthracnose, red and white spiders, scale insects, aphids, etc., leaf disease.

Control methods: spray dry branches, 14.5% multi-effect spirit (150 times), 43% tebuconazole 2000 times solution, etc., choose one, add 40% chlorpyrifos 700 times, add 100 times urea, add 20~25 times zinc sulfate in orchards with serious leaf disease.

April: (flowering)

Three days before flowering, the whole garden is sprayed with insecticides and fungicides

Control objects: powdery mildew, ring disease, red and white spiders, leaf miner moth, leaf roller moth, aphids and so on.

Control methods:

Bactericide: 14.5% multi-effect spirit (copper ammonia) 1000 times, or 70% propineb zinc 700 times solution, or 43% tebuconazole 4000 times solution, or 5% hexaconazole 1200 times solution, etc.

Pesticide: 1.8% abamectin 4000 times solution, add 40% chlorpyrifos 1500 times, in order to prevent late frost damage, can add growth regulators such as Bihu.

May: (young fruit)

Disease and pest control: Generally around May 10, spray the first time 7~10 days after flowering, spray it every 7~ 10 days, spray it continuously for 3 times, pay attention to the combination of protective fungicide and systemic fungicide, and add foliar calcium fertilizer.

7~10 days after flowering (counting from 80% flower shedding)

Control objects: ring disease, anthracnose, leaf spot disease, red and white spiders, mealybug konnyi, leaf miner, leaf roller, aphids and so on.

Control methods:

Bactericide: 70% propineb 700 times solution, or 80% mancozeb 800 times solution, plus 50% carbendazim 600 times solution or 70% thiophanate-methyl 800 times solution.

Insecticides and acaricides: 20% Misijing 2000 times solution, or 24% Spirofenoxil 5000 times solution plus 2% perchloramphenicol 1500 times solution plus 10% imidacloprid 3000 times solution.

About 20 days after Xie Hua (around May 20)

Control objects: ring disease, anthracnose, leaf spot disease, mealybug Connolly, yellow seed, aphid, cotton bollworm, leaf roller, etc.

Control methods:

Bactericide: 10% doxorubicin 1500 times, or 43% tebuconazole 5000 times solution plus 70% thiophanate-methyl 800 times solution or 50% carbendazim 600 times.

Insecticides: 10% imidacloprid 3000 times, plus 52% chlorpyrifos 1500 times, or 10% cyhalothrin 2000 times.

June: (fruit expansion period)

Disease and pest control: immediately spray Bordeaux mixture once in the middle of June after bagging.

Three days before bagging

Control objects: ring disease, anthracnose, leaf spot disease, mealybug Connolly, aphids, peach fruit borer, etc.

Control methods:

Bactericide: 70% propineb 600 times solution, or 80% mancozeb 800 times solution, plus 70% thiophanate-methyl 800 times solution

Pesticide: 10% imidacloprid 3000 times, plus 40% chlorpyrifos 1500 times, plus 1.8% abamectin 4000 times

acaricide: 25% triazoxtin 2000 times solution, or 24% spirodiclofen 2000 times solution

After bagging (around June 15-20)

Control objects: ring disease, brown spot disease, peach fruit borer, etc.

Control methods:

Fungicide: 1:3:200 times Bordeaux mixture

Pesticide: 20% Cyanophos EC 1500 times

July: (fruit expansion period)

Disease and pest control: spray insecticides and fungicides once in early July and late July respectively

August: (fruit expansion period)

Disease and pest control: spray insecticides and fungicides once in early August and late August respectively

Early July to late August

Control objects: leaf spot disease, brown spot disease, leaf miner, red and white spider, etc.

Control methods:

Commonly used fungicides: 1:2.5~3:200 Bordeaux mixture, or 43% tebuconazole 5000 times solution, or 10% doxorubicin 1500 times solution, etc.

Insecticides and acaricides: 2% permethrin 2000 times, diapylurea, abamectin, 40% chlorpyrifos 1500 times, spirofen, triazotin.

Note: The application frequency depends on weather conditions. Bordeaux mixture and other fungicides are used alternately. Insecticides and acaricides are used flexibly according to pest conditions. The interval between Bordeaux mixture and other fungicides is about 15 days, and the interval between other fungicides is about 10 days.

September: (late stage of fruit expansion to before bag picking)

Disease and pest control: spray insecticides and fungicides three days before picking bags

Control objects: leaf spot disease, lepidoptera, coleoptera, orthoptera and other pests.

Control method: 43% tebuconazole 5000 times solution, or 10% multi-antibiotic 1500 times, or 70% propineb 700 times solution, add 70% thiophanate-methyl 800 times or 50% carbendazim 600 times, add 2% perchloramphenicol 1500 times, etc.
